Disney Movies Anywhere, Disney's online streaming website. So, there won't be a bonus disc with those extras, but they'll only be available if you download the film through the website. I find it to be pretty pointless, but I guess some people will download the film just to get those extras.Marce82 wrote:Hey everyone,
The press release says that there is a DMA exclusive bonus disc with a few extra features.... pardon my ignorance... but... WHAT IS DMA???

Oh, that really bothers me!
I would be happy to shell out a few extra bucks for the extra DISC.... but not for some crappy download!

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet (or at least not that I saw), but there's a short called " Riley's First Date?" that will be included with the home release. They showed it to us yesterday and the audience was howling with laughter. I won't give it away but think more of the scene where you see the thoughts of Riley's parents at the dinner table. Comic gold.

Yeah. I've never heard of a download having exclusive bonus features. As if that will make the average user more interested.Marce82 wrote:Oh, that really bothers me!

Re: Pete Docter's "Inside Out" (June 19, 2015)
I finally found the time to go to the cinema and see 'Inside out'.
I was quite hesitant to see it but I loved it and thought it was a strong film. Made me cry quite a few times, especially when Riley's imaginary friend sacrificed himself to save Joy. Riley returning home was very bittersweet. It was quite frustrating at times with Joy's plans constantly being thwarted. I thought they could have done more with Sadness but maybe that's me.
It was definitely set up for a sequel so I'm wondering if they'll expand the human characters emotional range past 5 things but at the same time I don't want them to over complicate it.
Also got to see the Good Dinosaur teaser trailer (watched full one on YouTube) and so far I'm underwhelmed.

I got the Target exclusive in the mail today. Though, I'm sad to say that those Target exclusive features are just for the Disney Movies Anywhere download. In short; there are more extras for the Target Disney Movies Anywhere download.

I received my copy in the mail today. I missed out on seeing it in the theater earlier this year, so I'm pretty excited to finally see it.

I picked it up at Best Buy, since I had a $5-off coupon.
I actually forgot about the bonus material at Target, but I dunno, the cards are cute.

I just finished watching the film, and I have to say that I'm really, really impressed. It's probably the best Pixar film since WALL-E. I watched Lava beforehand and found it to be pretty mediocre.

Really? I actually liked "Lava" and found it to be cute and haunting.

Re: Pete Docter's "Inside Out" (June 19, 2015)
Finally got around to rent and watch this after missing it in theaters. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't say it's in my top 5 favorite Pixar films (but it's still miles better than Cars 2 ). I liked the concept and there were plenty of humorous moments, but there were also parts that dragged on longer then they should've and Joy got a bit irritating at times. I didn't get to watch the Lava short so no comment on that.
I'd give it a 7/10

Well, at least "Inside Out" got reviewed during it's theatrical release. And while Luke reviewed "Aladdin" on the Platinum Edition release eleven years ago, it's remarkable that not "Aladdin" nor "Sleeping Beauty" got reviewed with their current releases. Perhaps Luke likes to skip the fall releases? Haha.Marce82 wrote:Um.... where is the dvdizzy review of this release???
