Re: Frozen: Part V
I wonder why Elsa's dress is notably different from the final scene of Season 3?

Just what I was thinking, really. I posted a few pages back that this, plus all the song covers Disney has put out recently, could be a sign of a possible Disneymania comeback.DisneyDude2010 wrote:Maybe Disney Channel is re-introducing the Disney Channel Circle of Stars?

And here's the music video!!!
Disney's Circle of Stars - Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

I love the fact that they are calling it Disney's Circle of Stars, just like they did before!

I think it's so weird that they were so slow until the depressing ending part, which everyone is suddenly happy.
As tired as I am with EVERY, ONE of the DC Stars singing, they did great with this!

Re: Frozen: Part V
Wow that video made me feel old. I haven't watched Disney Channel/XD for a while and I recognize only 7 or 8 people from that video.
However, the fact they chose this song makes no sense if you think about it. They lyrics have a built-in context/meaning. You shouldn't sing a line like ''What are we going to do?" with a big smile on your face, because it basically means "What are going to do now that our parents are dead?"
Some of them ARE pretty good singers though!

If you haven't bought the soundtrack for Frozen yet, you can get the MP3 version from Amazon for only $3.99. It will only be available at this price for a limited time:

Re: Frozen: Part V
Jennifer Lee has revealed the origins of how Elsa got her powers. (About a third down the page) A child is born with ice magic every 1000 years, and only when Saturn is in an alignment with something. This makes sense because, you know, Saturn has both rings of ice and rock and a moon covered in ice. It was left out of the final film because the more you explain about magic, the more you want to know about its rules.

She also reveals that a regent (deleted character) ran the kingdom until Elsa was old enough to rule.

Naturally.
The stuff about Saturn is interesting and I'd like to hear more, but, like the regent character, it's unnecessarily technical. The film is better off without it.

As a Norwegian Disney fan, this is sad news to read:/ I hope that Norway might reconsider their position on this and keep funding the pavillion. It is great promotion for Norway.disneyprincess11 wrote:Looks like it's goodbye to the Norway Pallion in Epcot, hello to Arendelle!

Favorite Disney-movies: Snow White, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Tangled, Frozen, Pirates, Enchanted, Prince of Persia, Tron, Oz The Great and Powerful
Re: Frozen: Part V
Most people in the Disney parks community, aside from the biggest Frozen fans, aren't happy about this, but it's the easiest way to make sure the film sticks around to make some good cash. But personally, I'd rather they just focus on DHS, which really needs more new stuff, and the recent summer stuff has been a big push for it.
Re: Frozen: Part V
It's interesting that Elsa's power comes from astrology.
When Frozen played at a local theatre, one lady walked out of it, because she thought the movie was about witchcraft. I was left to assume that she's never seen a Disney movie before.
