I remember now! DTS on DVD was the thing... before Blu-ray made DTS less special by having it on practically the majority of the Blu-rays... that, and taking away the newer DVD's DTS audio when Blu-ray took full control. Never had a DTS receiver back in the days of DVD so I had never heard a Disney DTS title's audio track... until the Blu-ray players would have the ability to let me hear the DTS track with or without a receiver. Bit of a better quality compared to Dolby. ... Blu-ray spoiled me nowadays. (facepalm)

This bizarre thing though drove me nuts: the Platinum DVDs never have a DTS track, yet most of the Direct-to-Video sequels do? What was up with that? Don't tell me "because of extras taking up DVD space" crap. Those classic films should have given the DTS track if they're going to include the DD 5.1 tracks! (less complaining thankfully as the Diamonds present those films in 7.1 (or 5.1) DTS-HD.)
Are they worth picking up? Well, that depends how much advantage it used in the DTS track. If there are Disney titles that have perfected DTS tracks... and are good titles, then yeah, pick those up. ... if you're a DVD-only person, that is. (again, Blu-ray spoilage.)
This is DisneyFTW1, a former Youtube account that was terminated by Disney themselves. My current Youtube Account is FilmFTW2 (FilmFTW1 was terminated). Youtube sucks when it comes to film uploads, and it sucks even more when major corporations are following your channels. But what can I do?
