I think I'd like to start doing the next site countdown in August, and I'd like to get some feedback and maybe new ideas for a topic.

We've already done:
Animated Classics (Fall 2003)
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/countdown/

Live Action Films (Winter 2004)
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/countdown2/

Disney Songs (Spring 2004)
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/countdown3/

These are a few ideas that I've been contemplating for the next ones. Feel free to come up with your own suggestions for consideration.

Disney Heroes & Heroines
Pretty self-explanatory. The protagonists we see as most richly defined.

Disney Villains
Also self-explanatory, the best defined villains.

For these first two categories, I imagine most of the choices will be from animated films, but I think it's fine to include characters from live action and hybrid animation/live action films, just the same.

Disney Legends
The actors and actresses who have made the most significant contributions to Disney films over the years.

Please vote in the poll. Any feedback as to which you'd most like to do is most appreciated. Again, feel free to come up with your own ideas for consideration!

Thanks.

Disney villains. In reading over the ideas, all of which are good, that's the one that most excited me.

Hey, Luke, before I vote, shouldn't Disney Legends also include artists, animators and voice talent?

I voted for Heroes and Heroines, though I wouldn't mind seeing Villains or Legends, either.

I voted for villains, and lemme make a wild guess as to who'll win that one... hmmm, oh, Maleficent, maybe?

Heroes and Heroines, please. And not just main characters. Supporting cast members should have a chance as well (i.e. Tinker Bell, among some others I can't think of at the moment).

eutychus47, welcome to UD.com! :D

Definitely what? I'm assuming you meant for villains, but just wondering. :)

The post subject says "Disney Legends" so that's probably what was meant. :)

Welcome to the forum, eutychus!

Ah. I never read the subject line, I kind of forgot it existed, lol. Thanks for clearing it up, Luke.

I definitely would LOVE to see a Disney Villains countdown. There are just so many great ones to choose from (although I have my favorites). Plus, I think it would be a great tie-in with the upcoming Halloween season.

Excellent point! I hadn't thought of that. Villains have a big lead, and I'm getting increasingly excited. :P How many would there be? There's certainly more than 100, but that seems like it might be a little too inclusive. 25 is probably too few. How about 50 or 75?
