Good to hear. I hope they have English language tracks! Germany is Region B, right? Do you know if releases in Germany lately have been region free as well for Blu-ray, like they most have been here in the States?Scamander wrote:It's been confirmed that Disney Germany will release Pocahontas as well FatH separated from their sequels.

G'day fellaz.
Could someone please post up some pictures as to whatthe inside of the "My Magical Disney Vault Collection" looks like?
Also is the new one (TLK/Bambi/ Beauty & the Beast) deleted?
P.S. JB now has "updated" versions of Incredibles & Bug Life (Blu-Ray + DVD combo pack) for $20 each. I have not scene this in any store thus far. Yes we're still missing 2 discs in comparison to the US version *smh*...
Cheers

The nine DVD volumes of the Gummi Bears (previously reported in Coles) are from Series 2, according to wikipedia. I noticed their cover art matches the DVD releases of Series 2 in Czech Republic, except they removed the 'Series 2'. There were three separate DVD volumes of Series 1 in Czech Republic too.
So the initial three DVD volumes I noticed on OFLC were from Series 1, followed later by the nine DVD volumes of Series 2. Although it seems only Series 2 was actually released on DVD in Australia.
The Australian division really makes no sense, skipping series 1, and only releasing series 2. I would have bought these discs already, if I knew they were the second half of the series.

Hey I know it's not necessarily related to a home video release but several Event cinemas are playing animated disney movies in the next few weeks. Check it out at greaterunion.com.au
Movies being played are The Aristocats, Dumbo, Bambi and Fox and the Hound! I wasn't even born when these came out so it'd be great to see them on the big screen! Plus the tickets are only $8!

Could be awhile, Pixar Shorts V2 has not passed through the OFLC yet.MelancholyEcho wrote:Guess we're not getting Pixar Shorts #2 anytime soon then?
Yes, Disney continue to strip down the local releases, and then wonder why we buy from overseas. I don't think Disney care at all about Australia, especially with stuffed up DVD releases like the Gummi Bears.MelancholyEcho wrote:Also, it really annoys me that we get the stripped back versions of the Blu-Rays of Finding Nemo & Brave, while the US gets a five disc set in both cases.
The local Disney Rewards is completely worthless too, currently only offering a single DVD via rewards. I don't think it could get any worse.

What, you don't want Treasure Buddies Activity Sheets?Kirben wrote: The local Disney Rewards is completely worthless too, currently only offering a single DVD via rewards. I don't think it could get any worse.
Yeah, I agree completely Kirben; I had a look on the US Disney Rewards page to compare the other day, and I was astounded at the range and choice of products they had as opposed to our program, which is a joke.
