I hope they put a warning before it that the film contains scenes that may be too scary for like, children under 5 or 6 or something. I actually don't think Bambi is good for "young kid's movie" at all, people just think it is because it has cute animals.
Definitely disagree there. My cousins and I watched Bambi a lot as little kids, the mom's death barely registered with us. The story doesn't focus on her like the Lion King did with Mufassa. I was much more saddened by that, and even still I think that movie is plenty appropriate for kids. Death is a natural part of life. Not to mention its only implied in Bambi, its never actually shown.

It's much more than just Bambi's mom, actually.

And there's nothing wrong with kids not seeing until they're 5, either, just to make sure, you know?

Okay, so how about at least not kids 4 and below?

I thought it might be interesting to know that Disney Junior played The Hunchback of Notre Dame today.
I was very surprised because the channel is aimed at younger audiences, but the whole movie was played. I am very happy at this because Disney may be caring about this movie again. Ironically, today is the octave of Easter, traditionally known as Quasimodo Sunday.

Wow, Disney junior has been holding it down lately!

Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Princess Diaries movies all came on multiple times during the weekend on ABC Family.

Also, Disney Junior is showing Brother Bear and Pocahontas on Saturday. In Eastern Standard Time, the showing starts at 9 (I believe A.M.)

Lady and the Tramp on ABC Family right now! Will come on again tomorrow as well as The Lion King.

I have a feeling Cinderella and The Little Mermaid will be on ABC Family frequently once their Diamond Editions have been released.

It says Lady and the Tramp has been edited to fit in the running time. Did anyone notice where the cuts were made?

A lot of times, it's only the credits that are sped up to shorten the running time.

I don't think anything was cut at all. The Disney films that air on ABC Family are hardly ever cut.

Why should I bother about Disney DACS being broadcasted on TV if I can watch them anytime I want on dvd?
