It looks like Viggo's out and Hugh Jackman may be in.

While that does pique my interest somewhat, I'm still far more interested in Tarsem's more traditional approach with Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, and Armie Hammer, especially since it's the planned start of a film series based on Grimm's Fairy Tales. I can't see both Snow Whites co-existing without either one of them crashing and burning or getting post-poned an awfully long time (I'm not counting Snow and the Seven because I honestly don't think that's ever going to get made. It's been in development hell for years).

So if only one film cane make it out of this, I hope it's the Tarsem one.

I know absolutely nothing about this production. Came on my radar because my sister is my Twilight news source.
From the trailer it looks like Kirsten Stuart's playing Kirsten Stuart. Chris Hemsworth has a difficult role, acting like Thor with his mighty ax. Had to check, but it seems Sam Claflin who played Philip in POTC: OST is the prince in this movie.
And while they mentioned "From the Producer of Alice in Wonderland", it looks like they're going to pull an Alice and have Snow White fight in some great battle sequence.

Charlize Theron looks so AWESOME as the Wicked Queen. If only Kirsten Stuart wasn't in it, it would be so much better. She's such a horrible actress.

Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth are both great actors, and this movie looks entertaining and epic. I don't think that even Kristen "One Face" Stewart will be able to ruin this film...

 Beyond a doubt.

Seriously, she's the same in every movie I've ever seen her in. By "same," I mean twitchy.

I saw the trailer accidentally on another Youtube video...

It looked so stunning and intriguing and exciting, and yes, epic! Which surprised me a lot from what I thought this movie would be like! So I am actually very looking forward to seeing this movie!

Maybe Kristin will turn out to be good? Maybe with a fairy tale character, she will realize she must play someone very different. But either way I'll believe her as Snow White for the duration of the film, it just looks so so awesome, and nothing she's done in the trailer looks bad yet!

The mirror's a little...well...not looking like a mirror, but then again this is Snow White in chainmail, too. But the costumes and the rest all look faaaantastic!

I saw this trailer last week! Anyway, in what world is Kristen Stewart, the blandest, palest, most awkward, and most wooden actress in hollywood, the fairest of them all? ESPECIALLY when a woman as hot as Charlize Theorn is the evil queen?

In a world where Twilight is a multi-million (or is it billion?) dollar hit.

^ Is that based on Gregory Maguire's novel?

In my opinion, Snow White and the Huntsman has the better queen, while Mirror Mirror has the better male hero. This is just by me judging on the trailer alone. Plus, I'm more interested in the prince than the huntsman.

Does anyone remember the movie "Snow White: A Tale of Terror"? Now THAT was a good movie!

Honestly, based on these trailers, I'm not interested in either. Time will tell, maybe that opinion will change?

Good lord, both look appallingly bad. I will probably prefer Snow White and the Huntsman because with Kristen Stewart, it will have plenty of unintentional hilarity. Not even the special effects, sets or costumes in either look good. I wonder what fairy tale Hollywood wants to shit on next? :?

Aw, fuck.

Nonetheless, both Del Toro's version of Pinocchio and WB/New Line Cinema's Jack the Giant Killer are both intriguing.

In my opinion, the best live action retelling of a fairy tale is "Ever After". To me, that movie was incredibly clever by using real history and real historical figures to fictionally explain how the Cinderella story came to be. No other retelling of any tale has compared to it thus far, in my opinion of course.

Honestly I'm excited for Snow White and the Huntsman. Charlize Theron looks fantastic. I loved the trailer - having Snow White not speak was a great decision, as it gives people a chance to look at the trailer - not Kristen Stewart's performance.

And to be honest (again), I like KStew. I abhor the Twilight films, but she was great in The Runaways and Speak. We'll see how she is as Snow!

And none for Julia Roberts, bye.

Twlight is on FX right now as a matter of fact. Haha. She's so bad in those movies. Even on the red carpet, she just looks bored ALL THE TIME! I giggle whenever she wins Best Actress during the MTV Movie Awards.
