Being that Pocahontas was OOP, I was secretly hoping that she would be coming this fall. However, now that TFatH has been announced for a Blu-ray release in September.... I have no idea anymore.
I've had my hunches that the reason why they stopped selling the Dolls with the new Blu-ray releases is so that they could sell the Dolls whenever they want instead of waiting for the Blu releases. If that's true then we could get anyone really.

I was just looking for pictures of the Rapunzel doll because Tangled is coming out soon, and I found this...I was just wondering will this ever be released outside the UK?

I didn't even know they were going to release limited edition dolls outside the princess line...

This is awesome! I think it would be cool if Disney did dolls for their villains as well for their princess films it would be so cool! Atleast the films that feature females as the villain which is nearly all of them.Babaloo wrote:I was just looking for pictures of the Rapunzel doll because Tangled is coming out soon, and I found this...I was just wondering will this ever be released outside the UK?

They've already done several dolls for the villains over the years, but I wouldn't mind seeing more. And, yes, that Gothel doll is awesome. Her dress reminds me of the Evil Queen for some reason. Guess it's the tassel-belt.
Listening to most often lately:
Ariana Grande ~ "we can't be friends (wait for your love)"
Ariana Grande ~ "imperfect for you"
Kacey Musgraves ~ "The Architect"
That 17 inch Gothel doll is so much better than the 17 inch Rapunzel doll. I wonder why the dolls and cliparts of Rapunzel look absolutely nothing like her. They always have these really round Ariel like eyes when Rapunzel's eyes in the movie are more almond shaped. Huge almonds, but not really round.

The Mother Gothel doll has been released outside of the UK. It is available through the Disney Store site. I haven't personally checked to see if you can buy it in the stores (the only Disney store in my area is 20 miles away, so I don't go there frequently).Babaloo wrote:I was just looking for pictures of the Rapunzel doll because Tangled is coming out soon, and I found this...I was just wondering will this ever be released outside the UK?

Rapunzel has actually been sold out for some time. If you click "add to cart" it will tell you that the item cannot be purchased at this time. Today was her release day so everyone who preordered her online will be receiving it in the mail or if you preordered in store you will be able to pick it up now.
Mother Gothel was released today (3.29) and is already sold out online and in most stores. Only select Disney Stores received Mother Gothel, and most of those stores got less than 20 each. My store sold out of all 21 in one hour. She is the same size as the other limited edition dolls, but at an edition size of only 1500, she will be much harder to come by than the other princess dolls that have been released.
Still no word on what the next doll will be.

I just got Rapunzel yesturday and she looks even better than she did in the pictures online. I was kind of hoping that there would possibly be some sort of insert implying what the next doll would be, but that wasn't the case. I wonder how we're supposed to find out which doll is next. With Rapunzel I received an email saying she was up for pre-order. Are there any conventions or anything coming up that would announce it? Maybe we'll just have to keep our eyes open on Disneystore.com and for an email...
^ Isn't she gorgeous?? I got her on Tuesday and just sat there stunned for a little while after I opened the shipping box. I'm kinda scared to fully remove her from the display box, even though it'd be easier for me to showcase her in my tiny bedroom without the huge packaging....think it's worth it?
By the way, mine is number 4368 (or 4638, keep getting it mixed up! )

mine is 4814, I must've just barely got it! lol
I've given all the dolls to my mother, so they are kept at her house where she has a lot more room. My mom's a doll collector, so she just has all four in their boxes sitting on top of these big doll cases she has. I don't know where she'll put the rest of them though.

Well I was wondering about the numbers, actually, since I preordered mine IMMEDIATELY and it took another day or so for them to sell out online after that, so I think it might've been random.
