When are we going to see Ducktales on DVD?
Luke do you have any idea when this year it will be reeleased? I know the official date is not on your list so you may not have any clue either but I was wonderig what your thoughts were?
Disney removed the DVD from their retail listing. I did hear one rumor that said it'd be coming in January 2005, but that's just a rumor at this point.
"Fifteen years from now, when people are talking about 3-D, they will talk about the business before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and the business after 'Monsters vs. Aliens.' It's the line in the sand." - Greg Foster, IMAX chairman and president

Duck Tails: Treasure of the lost Lamp should be on DVD soon.
It should be a Special Edition 2 disc DVD.
I really like this movie and I haven't seen it in a long time.
Maybe tonight I watch it on my VCR.
Yay!!!

It would be great that Disney takes out all their Diseny afternoon on DVD A.S.A.P.

Speaking of Disney TV cartoon shows...
Toon Disney just became free where I am. Before, it was only available as part of the digital cable package (which we have on 2 of our TVs), but now it's part of basic-expanded cable, and no longer a subscription channel. Is that the case everywhere?
I get it in my room now! (Just watched Darkwing Duck today).

Have you tried auto-programming your TV again? It was added to basic-expanded cable just days ago, so maybe you have it too. I don't know if this is everywhere, or just here, or even only temporary (hope not!). Let me know if you find anything out!

I have some espiodes on tape that I taped a long time ago.
I could just rewatch them in my summer break, since I'm going to summer school this year.

Ok, cool... just let us know how it goes. I'm really curious as to whether this is a nationwide thing or not. I remember when Disney Channel moved from subscription to regular cable... oh happy day!

When are we going to see Ducktales on Dvd?
If I remember it was an AWESOME movie, so when can we expect the Dvd?

By the way, now that I look for it, the only movie version I find is Treasure of the Lost Lamp and I don't think that's the one I mean.
If I remember correctly the name was just : Ducktales: The Movie. And it was about all the characters looking for a temple (in Peru?) that's filled with gold.
I only saw it as a child but as I said above I thought it was a GREAT movie.

If you really can't wait for a U.S. release, you could always order a region 2 copy!Evil Genie Jafar wrote:If I remember it was an AWESOME movie, so when can we expect the Dvd?

DuckTales the movie is called Treasure of the lost lamp, I think its just one of those Disney movies that ends up with two titles, like The Spaceman and King Arthur. They go to Egypt to look for treasure and find a magic lamp in amongst it all...Evil Genie Jafar wrote:By the way, now that I look for it, the only movie version I find is Treasure of the Lost Lamp and I don't think that's the one I mean.

I hope they release the cartoons as well!
For some strange reason it keeps being referred to as Tail of the Lost Lamp and I have no idea why.
