Boy Meets World Season 1 was part of the TGIF Friday line up on ABC on September 1993 it lasted for 7 successful seasons.
Boy Meets World is a show for kids and teenagers who have no dates on Friday nights or could watch the show it they did have a date.
This show became a hit due to Mr Feeney!!!
He was the best character on the show.
Corey, Tapanga, Shawn, Eric and Mincus were the greatest character in the first season but I won't be getting it.
So if you want it you better get it this summer when school is out.
I meant August not June. sorry
Who's getting Boy Meets World on DVD First Season in August?

I might get this show for my sister who loves this show when she was growing up in jurior high school.
I was growing up from elementary when I saw this show.
I really like the show do to the family and friends bonding of the show.
I wonder if ABC will do a reunion tv movie soon.
The show started out kind of weak but then when Corey, Tanpanga and Shawn went to high school it came even better.
I might pick it up maybe if I have $$$$ to buy it.

Well, I voted for the 2nd yes... but it counted it under the first one. Go figure .
I've been waiting for this one for years, and wrote letters and signed petitions for its release long before I ever found this site. I will get it the day it comes out, and will have completed watching the entire season by that next day.

Does anyone know if the opening title will be the original sequence from season 1 (:D), or will it be the one with the car and the rollercoaster that Disney Channel now puts on the front of all the episodes, regardless of their season ()? I really like both, but I'd like to see each season air with its appropriate opening sequence.

Oh, it should almost definitely be the original opening credits sequence. In syndication, the first four seasons all show the Season 4 opening, because that's just how they were packaged after they entered the syndication market with 100 episodes.
So, we'll get to see the original opening animation for the first time, in a long time. Horray for BMW!

Luke, that's FANTASTIC news. Just when I didn't think it was possible, I'm anticipating this release even more! I'd probably have to say that if I have an all-time favorite TV show, it's Boy Meets World.
