You might notice the obvious lack of DVDs on this list. It's because I am not quite sure whether or not I will have a DVD player or if I will be getting a Blu-Ray player in the coming weeks...so while I'm in format purgatory, they're basically out for right now. I might update them later if something happens on that front.

To make Secret Santa that much easier for you, I have decided to hold off on buying the major CD releases that I have wanted in the past week or so. Mainly the new Norah Jones (the deluxe edition one from Target) & John Mayer CDs and the Them Crooked Vultures CD. These weeks are the biggest of the year (LOTS of great stuff out) so this is hard, but I figured that it would help make your life easier.

I think my number one item this year is Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time on DS. It's Out of Print and slightly hard to find, but it's kind of in the price range still. If you can swing it, that would be great. Otherwise, I tried to give you a bunch of options and ideas.

If you are one of those people that like to freelance a little, my favorite bands are The Eagles, Eric Clapton (icluding Cream and Derek & the Dominos), KISS, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith (Hi Aaron! I know you looked right here right away!), and AC/DC. I'd love any kind of merch or knick knacks you can find of these bands. If you see a really cool shirt (and some of them have quite a few) it's a 2X or 3X if you can swing it.

If you're kinda musically inclined, I play guitar and would love any kind of cool guitar knick knacks or equipment you can find. That'd be awesome too.

Dear Secret Santa,

Dearest Secret Santa,

I'd like to thank you in advance for whatever you pick to send me. The holidays are often a time of financial stress and business, so the fact that you have taken the time to think of me hundreds of miles away from wherever you are is very special in itself.

I wanted to say, also, that I absolutely LOVE vintage Disney materials and artifacts so feel free to buy me used stuff off ebay or amazon because I tend to fill up my bookshelves with those items anyway...ha ha ha.

I suppose the best part of Secret Santa is getting to know someone better through the process. So I would really enjoy getting something Disney related that you love so much you want to share with a fellow Disney fan. For example, last year I got a Jack Skellington figurine from.....Jack Skellington here on the forum (among the extremely generous package!). It was very clever and I think of that forum member almost every time I see the figure.

I've come up with a bit of a list to give you ideas of things I've been wanting to get for a while, now, but haven't been able to for various reasons. You don't have to get me something on this list, but I hoped you might find it useful in learning about me and the types of things I like. Some areas of interest for me include Disney (of course) movies and history, 3D movies and 3D history, Classic movie history, Nintendo, Medicine, Science Fiction, and Cooking. Keep in mind that I have over 2,000 DVDs so that might be an area where you might want to stick to the list. My shirt size is Men's Small or Extra Small. Once again it is time to post my wish list - something that's always rather awkward for me because I tend to find it's way more fun to give than receive. That said, I checked out my Amazon wish list, originally created in 2002. I added some new things, deleted some old, and found newer editions of DVDs I had wanted several years ago. Here it is for your viewing pleasure:

Clearly a number of those items are quite pricey, so feel free to ignore them. There isn't anything on the list that I really want more than another (I've been becoming scarily less and less materialistic over the years), so surprise me.

If you're looking for the more personal route, I have rather eclectic tastes. If something is unique (read: kitschy) with a vintage twist, I'll probably like it. Pink is a great color, but not a deciding factor. My shirt size is large if you are shopping in the junior's section, medium in normal woman's sizes. Of course, fun novelty tees tend to run small, so it's always better to have the shirt be a little bigger than too tight.

Also, I seem to remember that last year Disneykid had a certain Alice in Wonderland Clock on his wish list last year. I have taken a fancy to it and have been checking its price status over the year. As of now, it is down to $44.99 from $89.95. Obviously, it is still way over the Secret Santa price limit, but I thought in case I (or Kelvin) have a Secret Santa this year who likes to spend a lot of money, it might be something worth noting.
