Note: with regard to 'Monsters, Inc.', our own contacts have confirmed to us that the title is still in schedule for the fourth quarter of 2009.

i saw that too... is Destino getting it's own Blu-ray release ?
seems like it should be jam packed with extras if it is, or really inexpensive.

What?! That is so unfair! We've been waiting ages months ago to get it, and now we have to wait longer? This stinks! :(

Remember, it's not confirmed yet. It doesn't even make sense, unless UP was a 2010 release.

my sources are still telling me to expect a release this Fall in the U.S. Of course things can change, but it makes sense to release it this year with UP. Especially since the blu-rays are ready to go and all the contents will mirror the Japanese Blu...

No. I have some contacts within the industry and I believe it will be out in November.

I just received my copy of Mosters, Inc. Blu-ray from Amazon.co.uk (preorder was only £13.98)! It's a two-disc set.

The great news is that the discs appear to be region-free. If you want the movie so bad, try this one!

Why must you tease us, mentioning Destino?!?!?!?!? Seriously, will that EVER make it to DVD? It better be on DVD (and, I mean, it can be on Blu-ray, too, but at the very least, please have a DVD of it!)!

The DVD was already announced last year, wasn't it? And a special documentary about Walt and Dali coming together is being made as an extra.

It's been announced, but it's never been officially said when it's coming out. :( Like, originally it was going to be part of the...ugh, my mind is blank, but the line that the True-Life Adventures are in. I just want it to be released...

Screenshots from U.K. Blu-ray

Post by marlan »

The quality of the new HD release of Monsters, Inc. is very good. I made a few screenshots from my U.K. disc. These show what the Americans may expect to see sometime next year...

I also pre-ordered Finding Nemo which will be released in some 5 weeks.

Damn, why didn't they do this for WALL-E or A Bug's Life? Ah well, at least they came to their senses!

ultimatedisney.com wrote:Disney has re-announced the Monsters, Inc. Blu-ray for release alongside Up on November 10th. Besides the two Blu-ray discs and digital copy DVD-ROM already expected, the set ($45.99 SRP) will add a DVD as well. New bonus features include a Filmmakers' Round Table, Roz's 100-Door Challenge game, and a feature on building Monstropolis for Tokyo Disney's "Ride and Go Seek." Pre-order Monsters, Inc. Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo.

Let me get this straight, first they postpone the release of Monsters Inc because they want to spread out the releases and then they announce it for the same day as another Pixar film. Hypocrites!!! We should have this already and be getting Finding Nemo on November 10th!!!
