Ok so I don't really like this song but it's been stuck in my head all day!

Love Song by Taylor Swift.

I don't even LIKE Taylor Swift, it's just that song. Maybe because I'm a Shakespeare dork?

Is that that song that butchers The Romeo and Juliet story that I keep hearing all the time?

I actually used to be obsessed with that song when it first came out. :) I really didn't know how to feel about her first CD, but that song is what made me like her at least as a songwriter (there's no denying she's got a weak voice, but she sounds good when she does hit the notes  ).

Oops  When I posted that I was actually listening to Love Song by Sara Bareilles (sp?) so maybe that caused the mishap. And yes, Widdi, that is the song that butchers the story. I just like how she uses them, I guess. I have no idea why I enjoy that song.

My song of today is 'Here Without You' by 3 Doors Down. It's a pretty old song, but one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES. I can never not listen to that song. I was even late to work, once, because it came on as I was about to turn my car off. I was two minutes late and got points. Oh well. It was worth it :)

I don't know if I've heard that song. But if I did hear it, I'm sure I would hate it.

Lol. One of the things that really made me love that song was that Chris and Gina from American Idol season six sang it on tour, and I was at one of the shows. THAT was awesome.

Just discovered Leona Naess, and she has a few amazing songs! Especially "Shiny on the Inside" and "He's Gone." I recommend everyone check those out.

You know - I'm not trying to be rude - but I think this thread is about the songs that we're really excited about. Like, ones we're singing or obsessing about or that we play over and over again. Special songs. Songs that reoccur over our day or that we think a lot about. At least, that's what I've been using this thread for.

The thread for what you're playing now is here.

I'm going to post mine in the thread I created for music you might not have heard of.

It's not a really song, but what I keep listening to over and over is the Finale from the OBC recording of 1776. There's something very inspiring, yet also really creepy, hearing Mr. Thomson call the role of each of the delegates as the bell rings and the dischordant music creeps in louder.

Man, I absolutely love the idea of this thread because I ALWAYS have a 'song of the moment'

....except I can't think of any right now. :(

I'll post again later when I think of one.
