I don't want to be rude, but are we sure the rep is legit? I mean technically anybody could create an account on here and claim to be a BVHV represenitive.
I wondered the same thing at first too, but I think if the mods were willing to update the front page with the news posted by BVHE-Rep, than the source is probably legit.
Also, whenever a new member registers, they gotta submit a working e-mail and confirm their registraation. Since Luke can see all the e-mails used for each member, and if the e-mail the BVHE-Rep used was one from the Disney company (something like
sjsmith@bvhe.com), Luke could e-mail them and make sure they are a legitimate source.
A part of me is kind of glad that
The Aristocats is being pushed back a year, especially with word on them working on new bonus features. Of course, that could either mean some ridiculous CGI heavy set-top game similar to Virtual Safari (from
The Lion King DVDs)...I can picture it now, the "Virtual Kidnapping!" with a nice long tour through the French countryside. Either that or they're out shooting a slew of interviews and raiding the Disney archives to make a nice documentary about the film, as well as one about Disney Animation in the 1970s (what with
Robin Hood being screwed out of any in-depth making-of materials in its last DVD release,
Winnie the Pooh already having its own 25-minute featurette, and
The Rescuers being largely ignored).
ETA:
I looked at BVHE-Rep's profile, they've got an e-mail listed that definitely sounds legit, so I'm sure we can rest easy for now.
