BURBANK, Calif., April 12, 2006 – Walt Disney Home Entertainment presents <b>THAT’S SO RAVEN:
VOLUME 4 - RAVEN’S MAKEOVER MADNESS</b>, on DVD July 18, 2006. From the #1 show on the
Disney Channel, <b>THAT’S SO RAVEN: VOLUME 4 - RAVEN’S MAKEOVER MADNESS</b> contains four
individual episodes, including a bonus never-before-seen episode. Raven gets herself into hysterical
situations as her life gets made over with a dream internship in the fashion industry, while she struggles
with her new boss and wins a bedroom makeover.
<b>THAT'S SO RAVEN</b> is the hit live-action situation comedy starring Raven (also known as Raven-
Symonē, "<i>The Cosby Show</i>") as Raven Baxter, a winsome teen whose ability to glimpse flashes of the
future often gets her into hot water. Getting her out (or sometimes into) these predicaments are best
friends Eddie and Chelsea. Allowing her flights of fancy -- yet eager to keep her feet on the ground -- are
Raven's parents, Victor and Tonya. And then there's precocious kid brother Cory, who is both an
annoyance and invaluable resource to his big sis.
Raven has won the 2006 Image Award for Outstanding Performance In A Youth Series. She has won
the prestigious award for three consecutive years. She is also the 2005 Kids Choice Award winner for
Favorite Television Actress.
<b><u>Bonus Features</b></u>
• “So You Think You Know Raven” Interactive Trivia Challenge
• Never Before Seen Episode
<b>In RAVEN’S MAKEOVER MADNESS</b>, Raven gets a chance to meet a famous designer, but forgets
about her commitment to bowl with her friends. Then, Raven gets a dream internship in the fashion
industry, but finds out that the fashion biz isn’t as glamorous as she thought. Raven struggles with her
new boss, especially when he comes over to work on the same night that Devon is supposed to come by
on a big date. Raven gets on TV and wins a bedroom makeover, but it’s Cory who gets to do the
makeover. When Raven’s old room is turned into a “fitness center,” Victor and Eddie get competitive
about working out. And when Raven goes online to meet her perfect match, it turns out to be Eddie!
<b>THAT’S SO RAVEN</b> also stars Orlando Brown as Eddie Thomas, Anneliese van der Pol as Chelsea
Daniels, Kyle Orlando Massey as Cory Baxter, T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh as Tonya Baxter, Rondell
Sheridan as Victor Baxter.

These "Raven" releases grow less exciting all the time (not that they were ever thrilling or anything). The episode compilation discs work well as a sampling of a show for those looking for just a taste, but there comes a point where there's more than enough of a sample available, and "Raven" has reached that point... time for those promised season sets, Disney! At least these episodes all sound like ones that I haven't yet seen.

Even if they do release Season 1, it might not make enough for Disney to release Season 2. Then again, Season 1 is really the only dvd that I want because past episodes are what made the show great. These days the episodes just aren't what they used to be. They should've never broken the rule of 68(?) episodes only for every Disney show.

I actually think it would perform fairly well. "Raven" has a huge following, bigger even than "Lizzie" did/does. If enough people buy each of these compilations, I would think that box sets would perform reasonably well. But then, I would have said the same for "Lizzie" Volume 1 (not that it <i>didn't</i> do well, but there's no sign of Volume 2 thus far). At any rate, we know Disney was planning a "Raven" box set, but it hasn't come.

Come on Disney, where's our gift sets? The only way that I'm going to buy 'Raven' on DVD, is if the DVD is a season set, which in that case it would have mutlitple DVDs. I think I've been waiting long enough!
