I've not seen any Mulan slipcovers in the UK. The US one is rubbish anyhow.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

UK "Bambi" has a slipcover, yet no insert.

Post by Wonderlicious »

My "Bambi" arrived early today (yey!) and I can confirm that it does have a slip. Many have been excited over that prospect and I can verify it. :)

Unfortunately, it also doesn't contain a proper insert unless you count a promotional booklet saying what Disney DVDs are coming out.

Maybe they've stopped making them, after all HOTR didn't have one either!?

I don't even think the coming soon page is up to date since there is no release dates and the Tarzan has the CE cover.

Slipcover replacements?

Post by Iago »

I know for region one (or Amercia I think), you can call disney customer service and they send you a new slipcover either free or for really cheap.

I order quite a few of my disney dvds online and sometimes they dont come with a cover.

Anyone got any info? It would really cool to have all of my dvds with slipcovers!!!

:D

Do you get slipcovers in the shops? I should probably call the Finnish Buena Vista and ask about those slipcovers because we don't usually get things like that at all, Bambi is an exception. The Lion king, Aladdin and Snow White didn't have one or neither did any other Disney Classic, stupid.

We don't even have possibility for that, or maybe the thing's have changed after Bambi, but still. Actually all PE's and SE's should have slipcovers if you ask me, it makes them somehow more "important" and if it didn't work, please save the slipcovers for the PE releases. I honestly hope Cinderella will have a slipcover.

Im guessing it will yes, so far since Aladdin the platinums have come with slipcovers duplicating the cover art. So i dont see why this wont come with one. :)

Mine came today (sorry Whiggles, I was too late to get it out of the basket, but I'll probably get the Region 1 version as well), and it didn't have a slipcover. I'm guessing that mine was an odd one, however.

It's only a slipcover :? , I think the quality of the DVD would say more about whether BVUK has improved or not tbh.
