BURBANK, Calif., March 11, 2005 – What’s a Heffalump? It’s the biggest news in the world of Winnie
the Pooh! Get ready to meet the newest member of the Hundred Acre Wood in POOH’S HEFFALUMP
MOVIE on DVD and VHS on May 24 from Walt Disney Home Entertainment. Straight from theaters,
POOH’S HEFFALUMP MOVIE is a grand scale animated adventure that is as exciting as it is
charming, where friendship, understanding and adventure abound as Pooh and the gang discover things
aren’t always as they appear.

A quiet day in the Hundred Acre Wood quickly grows mysterious as a strange sound echoes through the
trees, a sound that can only be… a Heffalump! While the other Hundred Acre Woods friends devise
traps, Roo sets off into the Wood and meets a sweet, young Heffalump named Lumpy. To Roo’s great
surprise, Lumpy is quite friendly and playful. Roo wonders why the others are so frightened – and why
Lumpy is so afraid of Roo’s friends. Upon discovering their unconditional friendship, Roo and Lulmpy’s
loved ones realize how unfounded their fears were. Filled with humor, heart and Heffalumps, POOH’S
HEFFALUMP MOVIE is great fun for the entire family.

On DVD, POOH’S HEFFALUMP MOVIE features a Hide ‘N Seek set-top game with Roo and Lumpy;
special featurette on Lumpy – “Welcome To The Family, Lumpy;” Disney’s song selection; and DVD-Rom

I'm sort of surprised Luke thought it was the weakest of the pooh franchise. It was pretty well received by the critics, who mostly trash pooh stuff. Here in Holland I've also read nothing but positive reviews. Most of them saying, Lumpy is irrisistably cute or whatever :P And I have to say, having seen only the original (I sort of stayed away from the 'new pooh') I find this one the most intruiging. Looks a lot more fun than springtime, tigger, the search or Piglet.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I'm really glad they brought a new character in the Pooh francise. The Poohs movies and shows were getting old and repetitive the last couple years. Now with Lumpy they can have new adventures and more original stories.

What $3 coupon are you talking about?

I might buy this movie for my aunt. She wanted to see it when it came out in theaters but she never got around to it.

It's a nice movie...but I think you should rent it first David.
Of course, I'm a Pooh fan and would tell you to buy it, but I wouldn't want to force you to spend money on a movie you haven't seen. :)
