Your top 10 (or 20, or more) Disney Dream Dates
So, hope this hasn't been done before, but this is a place to post your top Disney dream dates, preferably in order. Got the idea from the way the conversation was going in another thread. Sticking with toons here, by the way, though if you want you could do the live action list too, but let's do them as two separate lists.
Here are my animated ones, faves first, and there are some ties:
1. Ariel and Tink (basically a tie for fave, though Tink would magically have to be able to grow human sized and make her wings disappear, the same way Ariel would need to be able to switch from flippers to legs like some movie/TV mermaids do).
2. Rapunzel (from what I've seen so far, she looks like she will rival Tink and Ariel for my affection! Sooo my type, from what I've seen so far...)
3. Kim Possible
4. Alice (if she were older, like in some fan art I've seen)
5. Belle and Katrina Van Tassel
6. Eilonwy (I don't know, she might be tied with someone higher up)
7. Cinderella and any of Casey's daughters, and the Bimbettes and Mermaid Lagoon mermaids
8. Wendy (preferably an older version, as with Alice, ha) and Slue Foot Sue
9. Jasmine (I tend to be less attracted to the exotic type, but her appeal cannot be denied)
10. Calla (grew up with her show and have always adored her) and Giselle (I don't know, I feel like they should be a little higher up on my list though)
11. Aurora (looks a bit tall for my tastes, but gorgeous for sure)
And I like many others, but those are the main faves. I don't doubt I'm forgetting someone though.

This could go a couple different ways: to include animals (based on their traits, as if they were humans) or not...
1. Aladdin
Love him. He's the pinnacle for me...Aladdin is pretty much the sole reason that I'm a hopeless romantic deep down. He and Jasmine- I've always LOVED them. I used to just watch "A Whole New World" over and over as a kid, and still do. Love it. He's brave, determined, sweet, charming (oh so charming!), gorgeous, knows what he wants, compassionate, kind, fun... Yes, he lies and steals...but he does redeem himself in the end. No one is perfect, and Jasmine saw something in him, and I think that he was worth getting to know. Even when he's describing Jasmine to Genie...there's something about him...vulnerability, maybe? Unconfidence (is that a word)? Something, that just...ahhhh. Love him.
2. Tarzan
Also love him. Not as much as Aladdin, but he's definitely my number two favorite Disney guy. And not just because I apparently like scantily-clothed Disney men.
He's very curious, as one would assume he would be with all the new stuff and people around him. He has such a thirst for learning, it's refreshing. And he'd be so fun and adventurous. And there's something sexy about his...wild side, I guess. And he's close to his family...not Kerchak so much, but that's not his fault. I like how he's a leader...like that a lot.
3. Naveen
Naveen is fun. And charming. And gorgeous. Not perfect, though. I would probably feel somewhat inadequate with his love of blondes and brunettes and redheads (haha), but he'd be a blast to hang out with. And his accent. Mmmmmmm.
4. John Smith
A stranger from another continent coming for adventure in your homeland. I like his spirit- he's definitely open to trying new things, and he wants good things; he's not interested in gold or destroying Pocahontas' tribe's land- he wants adventure, to explore, to see new things. He'd be so exciting to hang out with. And he really is open to things. I mean, he didn't run away from Pocahontas after meeting Grandmother Willow because he thought that she was really weird talking to a tree.
He seems accepting. And yes, of course, he's hot.
5. Jim Hawkins
Yes, he's underage, but he's on the cusp of legality, so I can include him. He's troubled, and he needs a friend. I could be that friend. I love, love, love getting to know people and just talking with people, and I mean, to be the one he confides in, that'd be cool. And yes, he gets in trouble, but if only he had someone to help him pour is energy into something productive. He'd be fun and brooding and a little myserious, which is fine by me.
6. Milo Thatch
A nerd, but a cute nerd.
His passion is amazing. He'd be like me a little: talk about what you're passionate about with people who don't care too much. We could relate! And maybe he'd be sort of "safe", which sounds horrible, but it's not like he's conceited. He has an adventurous spirit, and he's thoughtful. I mean, he'd be way smarter than I am, which, while a good thing for a relationship, at least for me, and he could surely teach me a thing or two or more, hopefully I wouldn't be too not smart for him. But he'd be interesting to hang out with. And it really is his passionate spirit that I like.
That's really it. Eric is gorgeous, but we don't quite know that much about him. And I can't include Flynn yet, since I haven't seen the movie.
If I were to include an animal, though...
7. Jake
Hot Australian.
Again, he has a sense of adventure, which apparently is a thing I'm looking for (thanks for making this thread, Nathan- I'm learning so much about myself
). I'd like a tour of the OUtback with him.

Aargh, I'm too tempted to do my live-action list. That's a more complicated issue though, ha. There's the Disney Channel stuff and all, with many gorgeous girls who are only legal age in certain areas, ha, often just a few months too young, and some cases in which they are in their 20's but their characters are underage. I believe Nicole Gale Anderson is one of those, for example, and Oleysa Rulin from the High School Musical films was another. Eh, too complicated with people's touchiness these days. Plus, there's one of my ultimate dreamgirls, Lizzie McGuire. I'd've waited for her, ha. Look, she's married now and I'm still trying to get a date, but I don't mean to break the fourth wall here or confuse actors with characters...
Anyway, I'll just throw out some I would love to date, and if they're not legal yet, let's say AFTER they're legal, ha. And I'm not going to put this in order...
Hallie from My Date with the President's Daughter (she's gorgeous, sweet, and fun, though she'd make me at least as nervous as her date in the film, and honestly, if there's one girl I adore more than Hilary Duff, it's Elisabeth Harnois; And I'd probably be just as happy with grown up versions of her Adventures in Wonderland and One Magic Christmas characters too. I mean, it's Alice and a girl who is friends with Santa Claus, and I already know they would've grown up to be gorgeous, ha.)
Debbie from Now You See Him, Now You Don't (She didn't do much more than tag along, but I don't require much other than a pleasant personality and extreme cuteness like hers)
Lizzie McGuire (once she's over 18, of course) She was basically just the all-American girl next door (though much cuter), but I'm attracted to that type.
Macy on Jonas (she's a sweetie and I also love her perkiness, and she's also gorgeous, as all the girls I'll mention here are in my opinion)
Zenon (she just reminded me so much of Sailor Moon, my fave non-Disney toon with a personality I love as her secrent identity, so I'd love to see what she's like grown up)
Layla from Sky High (she was the typical best friend girl who gets the guy in the end, 80's movie style, but this was the first time I really REALLY liked one of those characters)
Emily Watson from Life is Ruff (again, let's just assume that with any Disney Channel girls I mean once they're legal, ha; Anyway, yeah, I adore the Panabakers, and here Kay's a girl who works at the animal shelter, if I remember correctly; How sweet is that?)
Live-Action Giselle (she's a stereotype of a Disney girl, but I obviously am very into that "type", so..., plus, she's gorgeous)
Katie from Darby O'Gill and the Little People (it wouldn't work, I have no tolerance for hot tempers anymore, but she's gorgeous)
Priscilla from Johnny Tremain (I think, again, her temper/bossiness would become a problem, but I always had a crush on her)
Kelsi from High School Musical (I don't know too much about her because I haven't watched the films, but I've seen bits with her and I like her)
Alex Russo (she's kind of evil, but I love how laid back she is about everything. I've never seen any beautiful girls with that personality trait. Just the evil part.)
Nonni Parker (okay, I don't remember the character super well, but I can't resist pre-motherhood Reese Witherspoon, and it'd be the same with the character)
Leslie from Terabithia (They just make you fall in love with her before they slap you with the tragedy part, but if she lived and grew up a bit...)
Melissa from Herbie Goes Bananas (she had that sexy, repressed librarian situation happening)
Oh, and definitely Tutor from Wizards of Waverly, she was just too adorable!
Also, various Mouseketeers from all three shows that I had crushes on growing up, and I left out some because it was purely just the actress I liked, or because I just forgot. And there are some movies, like the new Sorceror's Apprentice or Tuck Everlasting, among others, that I just haven't seen yet. Alice from the new live-action Wonderland is very my type in some ways, but very not my type in other ways, both in the personality AND looks department.
I should probably have Lohan's character from Herbie Fully Loaded too, but I'd have to rewatch the film to be sure that it's not purely a physical attraction to Lohan in her prime, ha, and the fact that she's driving my dream car.
Incidentally, I forgot to mention Rose from American Dragon and Jane from Tarzan when doing my animated ladies list. Though, maybe I wouldn't want to date Jane, because I don't really like her voice AT ALL, ha, but she is definitely among the most GORGEOUS. I also feel Rose is among the most gorgeous, but I don't really watch that show, so I can't say anything beyond that. They deserve a mention at least though, for being so gorgeous, ha.

I haven't seen much of anything from modern live-action Disney (or from old live-action Disney either....hmm). The only guy I can think of is that guy from Brink! though he looked weird when I last saw him in The Princess Diaries. Oh, there was that guy from Phil of the Future, the main character, Phil. Slave2moonlight reminded me of Gordon from Lizzie McGuire (always liked him). And maybe Corbin Bleu/Chad?
1. Hercules ~ He's really the only guy I could imagine dating--and, no, it has nothing to do with the muscles (in real-life, I've actually never been initially attracted to overly muscular guys). He's just really shy and nice in the film. And it looks like he'd do anything to help someone.
That might be the reason I've only ever liked Megara and Hercules as a couple, as far as Disney couples go. Both are well-defined characters, who simultaneously have a lot of chemistry.
2. Jim Hawkins ~ I was 17 when Treasure Planet came out, so that's why I'll probably forever relate to this character. I suppose part of it is mostly sympathy and self-identification, but he seems like he would be really fun to be around on a personal basis. The movie shows him to be--like many men--to be very emotional at the core, but taught to hide it. And I think part of it is (like bc85 said) that you just want to be his friend, because he seems so alone in the movie.
3. Aladdin ~ Nothing much to say after blackcauldron85.
I think the attractive thing is, like she said (in that scene where he's describing Jasmine), a certain vulnerability. He's not cocky or expecting to land Jasmine in the movie.
4. Ron (from Kim Possible) ~ I haven't watched much KP (it's one of those shows I'd prefer to get on DVD and watch all together), but I always thought Ron seemed like a good guy. He might be annoying sometimes, but at least you'll know that going in. Everyone's a little annoying, in ways, over time.
5. Eric ~ Kind of superficial reason (since most of the princes don't have much personality to base it on), but blue eyes/black hair--omg.
Naveen is one who has a really nice personality, but who I would probably never want to date. From the way the movie describes, he's not the type of person to be good with committment, and I can't stand it when people cheat (in a world where it's so easy to leave/divorce). So, he would just be someone I'd really have fun with as a friend, but never as a date.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

I can only think of 3 characters I'd like to hang out with and all of them have been previously mentioned (2 twice so far), but I'll add some more thoughts:
1. Aladdin: laid back and confident, but not cocky, Aladdin's too cool not to want to be around.
2. Jim Hawkins: you'd probably get a more active "date" involving solar surfing lessons or something instead of a dull dinner (which would likely bore Jim).
3. Hercules: his innocent nature clashing with his muscle-stud looks would likely provide alot of amusement, but it would also mean you could talk about anything with him.

You can have Chad, but Corbin is mine.Disney's Divinity wrote:And maybe Corbin Bleu/Chad?

You and I seem to have a similar taste in men, DD!

I didn't do a live-action list...
1. Jack Kelly, Newsies.
Like Aladdin, he's not perfect and he has a lying problem, but it all works out in the end.

2. Dave, The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Part of this could be because I find Jay Baruchel to be really hot, but Dave is an adorable nerdy guy.
Honorable mentions:
Sunshine from Remember the Titans- He's really cute. Lol.
Kevin from Jonas- it's Kevin Jonas. Enough said.

Justin from Wizards of Waverly Place- Another adorable nerd.
Phil from Phil of the Future- Ditto.
Gordo from Lizzie McGuire- Ditto.
Jett Jackson from The Famous Jett Jackson- Adventurous and cute.

I know which thread, and since I know which direction it was taking, I wanna know: is 'date' code language for... something else? 'Cause I can't believe anybody would think you could have a nice date with the 'bimbettes' from Beauty and the Beast!slave2moonlight wrote:So, hope this hasn't been done before, but this is a place to post your top Disney dream dates, preferably in order. At the risk of sounding sappy (or creepy, who knows?), I'd just like to say that, from what I get from all your posts, you must be the sweetest person!blackcauldron85 wrote:5. Jim Hawkins

If that sounded corny, blame it on the beer I've been drinking. (But drunk people speak the truth.)

@ slave2moonlight: I know you've said you can't send private messages, but can you receive them?
Anyway, here's my top 10:
1. Ariel
She's energetic, spunky, full of life, exciting and she would do anything to reach her goals. I love her big blue eyes; they're very expressive. And she has red hair. Redheads are sexy.
2. Tiana
It's true what they say: black is beautiful! She looks stunning in her blue princess dress. More important: this girl's got class! "She's a brown-skinned woman, but I love her just the same!" (Bob Dylan, 'Outlaw Blues')
3. Jasmine
Aaaah, Arab women... The sexiest of them all. Dark skin, beautiful long black hair, brown eyes. Jasmine is perfect, although her character is a little bland. And, like someone else said in the other thread: I'm afraid I'll break her in half.
4. Jane
I adore her voice and her eyes. I could listen to that voice for hours, and her eyes may not be as expressive as Ariel's, but when she looks at you, you'll melt instantly. She just seemed so much fun, so open to new experiences, and you could see everything she thought and felt from the twinkle in her eyes. And she has a cute smile, too.
5. Elisa Maza
The no-nonsense detective from Gargoyles. She's got everything going for her: long dark hair, cute face and killer legs! Seriously, they're endless!
And she's one tough lady, you'd better not mess with her! Weird thing: she's in love with this creature named... Goliath! Hm... coincidence? I think not!
6. Belle
A classic beauty, but with the brains and personality that was sometimes lacking in earlier Disney heroines. I also like how she's not interested in the guy with the biggest muscles, but with the best personality. But that's self-interest.
7. Kim Possible
"She can do anything." That gets a whole different meaning in my dirty mind.
She's perky. I like perky. And I like her cute face. And, like every guy who has lived through high school, cheerleaders are part of my fantasy. Although we don't have cheerleaders on Dutch highschools. But yeah, still...
8. Eilonwy
Let's pretend she's a bit older, the way Enigmawing has so eloquently drawn her. She's sassy, and so funny and sweet and... the first blonde on my list, apparently.
9. Mulan
A true Asian beauty. I like her better without all that make-up, when she went to see the matchmaker. But I'm also a bit wary of the fact that she could pass for a guy so easily.
But she really is a natural beauty, although I'm not so fond of the short hair she has for most of the film. I like to see it long.
10. Pocahontas or Esmeralda
I'm not sure which one I'd pick as my no. 10. The classic princesses from Walt's pictures bore me a bit, to be honest. Give me an adventurous, sexy lady like Pocahontas or Esmeralda over them anyday!

8. Eilonwy
Let's pretend she's a bit older, the way Enigmawing has so eloquently drawn her. She's sassy, and so funny and sweet and... the first blonde on my list, apparently.

To respond to your private message, Goliath, ha, I suspect I probably already have those in my collection, but send them along just in case.
Thanks. I'm thinking they are the ones by an artist called Jab, a former Disney animator (if what I've heard is correct) that has an erotic cartoon website now. He is the single best artist at drawing females, to my tastes anyway, that I can think of, and used to do some gorgeous Disney renditions. They are in HIS style unmistakably, but still look very Disney in a way, and his aged-up take on Alice is just the girl of my dreams, ha. Unfortunately, I'm unable to subscribe to his or any other sites, and I'm not sure I would want to anyway, ha, but I think he must still do Disney fan art from time to time, as I've seen some gorgeous Kim Possible and American Dragon stuff recently from him that I'd never seen before. Unfortunately, rather than making a lot of art of Rose from American Dragon, he seems to focus on other characters, like the mom, whom he does make VERY appealing and I'm not complaining, but I'd like to see more Rose. It's like, most Goofy fan art, especially the saucy kind, seems to focus on Peg from Goof Troop. Frankly, I'd rather see art of Roxanne than Peg, ha, though some artists do know how to redesign her to make even me take a longer look.

Super Aurora! ew.... but lol anyway
anyway, this is hard. I don't think I can really put them in order, but this is my animated list.
Phillip - He's so devoted to Aurora, I could get used to that.
Naveen - He's sickeningly charismatic. Not to mention he's a nice musician.
Tarzan - sigh, he's just so... yes please
Eric - I'm pretty sure he was my very first gay crush. I was like 5 or 6.
Aladdin - He was my second crush, lol.
Real People...
Zac Efron (HSM 1, 2, and 3) - it's so stereotypical it even makes me sick...
David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place) - I felt really guilty about this one for a while, until I found out he was 21!
Erik Von Detton (Brink!, Princess Diaries) - did you know he was the voice of sid?!?
Ryan Merriman (Smart House, Luck of the Irish) - He's just one of those beautiful people that I can't stop looking at. lol
