People are stranded at the park because of safety reasons. Some flooding and liquefaction reported. The Tsunami didn't reach the park.
I can't imagine what safety reasons would keep people from being able to leave the park.

Last I've heard, they finally emptied the parks and they're expected to remain closed for the remainder of the weekend for safety inspection.

Some outlets, including Sky News, have reported that Tokyo Disneyland's car park is "obliterated" and that trains running to the park have been temporarily shut down. I assume that is a large part of the reason the guests cannot leave. Many of them may not even have a means of leaving, and the parking lot may not be safe for public access.
The Tokyo DL parks are scheduled to be closed tomorrow to repair damage, which reportedly includes in-park flooding and soil liquefaction, in addition to the parking lot damage. No significant in-park property damage or human injury reported.

Earthquake Closes Tokyo Disneyland for 10 Days-Kyodo

Tokyo Disneyland will be closed for the next 10 days as the country cleans up from one of the worst earthquakes in a generation, the Kyodo News agency reported early Sunday.
Oriental Land Co. closed Chiba-based Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea, Japan’s most popular amusement facilities, on Saturday to carry out emergency safety checks. The operator said the closure will probably last about 10 days.
Japan was hit by an 8.9 magnitude earthquake on Friday. Over 1,800 people are expected to have died in the disaster, Kyodo reported.

Update on Tokyo Disney Resort, Aulani, and the Disney Wonder
http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2 ... ey-wonder/
http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2 ... ey-wonder/
As many of you know, an 8.9-magnitude earthquake struck near the coast of Japan on Friday and Tokyo Disney Resort was one of the many areas affected. Fortunately our team on the ground has reported only minor injuries and minimal property damage at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. The safety of our guests and cast members is always our first concern so both parks will remain closed on Saturday to allow for a thorough inspection of our attractions and facilities. Cast members at the Tokyo Disney Resort are also providing humanitarian aid in the form of blankets, food and water for guests who are still at the resort due to the transportation challenges associated with the earthquake.
Because of the quake’s effect on the waters of the Pacific, the Disney Wonder’s itinerary was altered slightly due to the closure of the Port of Cabo. Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, currently under construction in Ko Olina, Hawai’i, was not impacted.
Our thoughts and sympathy go out to our guests, fellow Disney cast members and all of the people in Japan affected by this terrible disaster. We’ll share any additional information today by posting updates at the top of this page.

What a tragic loss, but Tokyo Disneyland was not affected by a disaster. Did this ever going to happen on May 21st according to Harold Camping of Family Radio are warn about Jesus' second coming, the rapture and the end of the world?
The world may never know. If you read the Bible, Matthew 24:36 would say "No one knows when that day or hour will come. Even the angels in heaven and the Son don't know. Only the Father knows." That's what is all about, but you don't need to worry about it anymore.
Japan had a tremendous earthquake, but it's not going to affect the Disney parks throughout the world in respect to the May 21st date that we don't have to worry about it.
