The train station has been there for years and has always served as the stop for Fantasyland and Tomorrowland so why are you now making a fuss about it? It's not in Fantasyland but it does provide an entrance into Fantasyland, just like when Toontown was there so I really don't understand you complaining here, it just seems like you are looking for faults.

so... the train station having a stop in fantasyland therefore making it an entrance into the land is somehow bad? Seriously, why is that an issue? Why would that ever be an issue? Does it bother you that you can see Ciderella's Castle from Main Street USA? How about the fact that Main Street USA is the entrance to the entire park? How about any transition into any of the themed areas in any theme park?

*EDIT*
I'm editing this next paragraph a bit because I think it's a bit harsh towards a single person on the board, which was not my intention at all. Sorry!

What is with all of this complaining for the sake of complaining lately on UD? I don't understand why so many here cant just enjoy things anymore. So many people here over-analyze EVERYTHING the company does. At what point do you take the time to enjoy anything about Disney anymore? I respect everyone's personal opinion, but I can't help but wonder how some people continue to be fans when all they do is hate on what Disney does even before giving it a try.

Now I'll go back to posting irregularly like I have always done, but please people... try to take the time to try out what the company's been working on before you disregard it as a bad idea.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the train station was only now being used as a specific entrance to the NEW fantasyland parts, the old fairy tale kingdoms.

But I guess it's not that bad.

singerguy, you didn't have to say all that, but I see where your anger is coming from...and to tell you the truth, the company has not made or said they will make any new things I think I will enjoy very much. And my love for the company slipped a lot when Rapunzel was changed to Tangled. :( I am sticking with this forum for as long as it goes out of hope, and to talk about old things or new releases of old things. The Disney company is changing, it only makes sense my love for it would, too. Unless they kept the essence, you know. ;)

No, how could it be when it's located in Storybook Circus? It will serve as an entrance into Fantasyland and Tomorrowland as it always has done, just like the Frontierland stop provides quick entrances into Liberty Square and Adventureland.

You're right Duster, I think I was a bit out of line in some of the things I said. That's why I went back and edited my original post to make it less confrontational. Unlike some other members of this forum I'll admit when I'm in the wrong.

I understand where you're coming from in not being happy with many of the decisions the company has made. I, also, don't agree with many things, but I don't think that should blind you from enjoying yourself. As a friend, I challenge to let go of the Disney from yesteryear and try to experience some of the things Disney has planned with a clean slate. I'm willing to bet that without a pre-disposed disapproval you'll find yourself enjoying a lot more that the company has to offer. I'm not saying you should forget the huge legacy of the company, but give the new stuff a shot. :)

Thanks singerguy, though I wouldn't have said you were outright wrong, just, well, you did edit it to be nicer, thanks. I will give Disney's new things chances as they go. I mean, all I can do is just like or dislike whatever comes from them, news or the actual product, right? And so far, most things I have not liked, but I will still see the things they make that interest me before final judgement. :) Or, possibly, just when I see them in pictures or video, if they're something I can't get, like rides far away that I can't afford right now!

I wonder how this overhaul is going to stack up against, say, Disneyland's Fantasyland overhaul of '83. One thing that both have in common is a relocation/update to Dumbo. That's about it, though.

While there's obviously still a lot of work going on in Storybook Circus, Disney is reportedly on course to meet the rumoured February opening for parts of the new land (Dumbo, The Great Goofini and the train station).

Disney seems, to me, to built/create/expand their parks SUPER quick .... are they quicker than normal construction places?

I know thats a random question, but especially if the attractions are outside, they can't work on them during the day and only at night, and they are open every day as well.

What do you guys think ?

That's a rumor. We don't know if or when they might put the tower in. Although they did confirm that the have enough space open and available to add any additional rides or stuff to the expansions so it is possible add a tangled section in there at some point.

It hasn't been confirmed as of yet but it has been strongly rumoured for a while and I've seen some very reliable sources on different WDW online forums say that there is at least a very strong possibility that the tower will get built.

From http://www.mouseplanet.com/9889/Walt_Di ... ort_Update:
A portion of the wall for the Castle Courtyard is no longer under wraps, revealing great stonework details, lanterns, and benches. The wall will serve as the divider between the Castle Courtyard (the existing Fantasyland) and the Fantasyland Forest (the upcoming Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train sections).

…Construction work on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has been accelerated, and we're hearing that the attraction may open in early 2013 rather than later in the year. A great deal of the dirt filling the former 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea lagoon has been excavated, and is likely to be the location for the "mine underground" sections of the attraction.

Construction has accelerated? I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
