Hurt or Heal: Andrew Lloyd Webber's Musicals

Post by TsWade2 »

The Rules of the Game:
The basic premise of "Hurt or Heal" is similar to Survivor. Players vote off which Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals they don't want to survive, but the twist is they can also save Andrew Lloyd Webber's Musicals they want to keep.

For this game, we'll use a list of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals.

Each musical starts off with 10 points. Players may choose to do one of three actions:

1. "Hurt" a NT by deleting 2 points.
2. "Heal a NT by adding 2 points.
3. "Hurt" a NT by deleting 1 point, and "Heal" a NT by adding 1 point.

Players can only take ONE action a day.

"Day" is defined as the 24-hour period between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm in whatever timezone players reside in. Thus, a player may vote at 6:43 pm, then again at 2:18 am, and still have it considered one action a day. Players cannot take actions twice in the same day, for example: at 9:42 am and at 5:16 pm.

Thus, no one is allowed to get a show removed by "hurting" it until it's eliminated, and no one is allowed to raise a film's points by continually "healing" it to the maximum point value.

For games with a listing of 21 or more ("Hurt or Heal"), the maximum point value is 30 points. They cannot go above 30.

For games with a listing of 20 or less ("Hurt or Heal Mini"), the maximum point value is 30 points. They cannot go above 30.

As there are 34 shows listed, the point value in this game is 30.

When a horse reaches 0 points, it is eliminated from the game and cannot be brought back.

When a horse reaches its maximum point value (30), no further points can be added. Points can still be taken away, then added again (i.e. 30 points to 28 points to 29 points to 30 points again), but never go above the maximum point value.

To play the game, simply copy the list and adjust the points to reflect your action. Make sure to bold the film(s) you've adjusted so the next player knows what's been hurt or healed.

**

To re-iterate:

Players may take only ONE OF THREE Actions per day
-Hurt a musical and subtract 2 points
-Heal a musical and add 2 points
-Hurt a musical for 1 point and Heal A Horse for 1 point

When a musical eaches 0 points, it's ELIMINATED

A musical CANNOT exceed its maximum point value of 30 points

Now, let the hurting and healing begin!
