There's a Spanish language track, but unless you speak Spanish or want to learn it via the magic of Disney, then you're correct in saying that there's nothing of any merit on the disc.cornelius wrote:Seeing as I'm a bit hard up at the moment, I'll definitely be taking your advice. I had another look today in HMV, would I be right in saying that content wise there is absolutely nothing new on the DVD?

Thanks, it seems like such a pointless release.Wonderlicious wrote:There's a Spanish language track, but unless you speak Spanish or want to learn it via the magic of Disney, then you're correct in saying that there's nothing of any merit on the disc.cornelius wrote:Seeing as I'm a bit hard up at the moment, I'll definitely be taking your advice. Sword in the Stone I'll double dip on, Sleeping Beauty I'm not sure about yet.
Also the whole Blu-Ray thing is causing me a lot of misery at the moment. I know it's fantastic but having spent so long (and so much) upgrading from VHS to DVD I think I'm going to just completely pass on Blu-Ray. I'm happy enough with DVD as a format and I just cannot justify starting all over again. Anyway let's face it by the time you've upgraded your whole collection to Blu-Ray there'll probably be a newer, better format. Technology is wonderful but staying on top of it is an expensive pastime.
I have to say that I agree completely!!! I'm not starting over again until there is a sufficient progression in home entertainment technology, DVD is fine, and if I get a blu-ray player, i'll buy new blu rays, not replace old dvds.cornelius wrote:Also the whole Blu-Ray thing is causing me a lot of misery at the moment. Also, does anyone know if they'll be doing the big "book" collector's editions for Sleeping Beauty like they did for Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians? I love those sets!

Something similar to the 101 Dalmatians and The Jungle Book sets is supposedly coming out in Australia (or a thread said that), so there may be a collector's set coming out over in the UK and Ireland. Not sure if they'll do a Blu-Ray and Book set, though.candydog wrote:Also, does anyone know if they'll be doing the big "book" collector's editions for Sleeping Beauty like they did for Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians? Silly, keep the DVD book version, yamiiguy wrote:That or Blu-Ray...hmm...I suppose I could buy both and sell the DVD, I'd probably get the same price
Give the actual DVD to some under privileged friend,
then keep your BluRay in the book!
Then its win win. A lovely book with the lovely BluRay inside.
That's certainly what i'll be doing.
Lovely

Monster's Inc. has been rated for 2008 as well, could Monster's Inc. be released along side Wall-E while Finding Nemo is released before then?

True, they're only trailers but I'd find it a bit strange if it was a trailer for nothing

awesome, that'll look sweet next to Snow White, Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians.
So glad I got Snow White, waaay back when it came out. It's rare now.
I'm loving the wave of UK box sets recently. Jungle Book wasn't as great, because the book was lame and the dvd below par, but 101 Dalmatians came close to Snow White. I expect Sleeping Beauty to be as good as Snow White.

The UK blu-ray will also feature a bonus disc featuring a standard DVD copy of the film.

they should fire he/she and get he/she who designed the deluxe book box cover to do everything from now onWonderlicious wrote:Somebody put effort into designing that.
