My guess is it is a re-release of the Big W exclusive below, except packaged with BatB/Bambi/TLK. I could be wrong though =\

I'm looking forward to picking up Pirates, TLK and FatH :D

Does anyone know if we are getting the 3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray edition of Beauty and the Beast. I was eventually going to buy the Normal Blu-ray set, but I already have two versions on DVD (Platinum/Diamond), so I might as well just wait for the 3D version that will also have the standard Blu-ray. I never got to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D in cinemas, so someone I know will hopefully get a 3D TV, then I'll be able to watch it.

That packaging looks lovely.

I'm quite jealous (if you've got it, that is).

Okay, the answer to my question is:

I managed to pick this up today at a Big W store. I was pretty disappointed, though, to find that the actual cases are not included. I don't think I can take it back as the shrinkwrap had of course been removed for me to open it. :(

Say you saw that picture, bought it based on that, and claim it was not as advertised to you. Consumer protection works in your favour!

Not a bad idea bern1992. As it stands anyway, the 'book' the dvds come in has torn and flaking paper on the edges, so hopefully I can at least get a store credit.

I found the BR cover for WTP

Part of me likes it, part of me wishes they used the teaser poster :(

Did Winnie the Pooh end up getting a cinema release? I never heard anything about it.

So many Blu Rays to buy - TLK, FATH, Pirates 4 and maybe WTP but with the DMR points going up to 200 and some actually decent rewards I don't mind so much.

I redeemed the Best of the Lion King CD last night, so thats worth $20, although the giant Simba is no longer there :D

It did, two weeks ago.

O, did they change the cover of the CD? I ordered myself the new Pooh merchandise. They've been adding new rewards pretty consistently, I think they're doing a good job! Just bummed I missed out on the Tangled DS game for 700 points - what a bargain.

For anyone who missed it the first time, JB HI-FI has the Fantasia two movie collection up for preorder for an October 5th release date at a very good price of $38.99.

http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/dvd/dvd- ... ack/632430

I got it back in February for a bit more than that and really like the packaging.

Despite this, I only watched Fantasia 2000 for the first time about a week ago. And the night before I watched Pitch Black - the first Chronicles of Riddick movie with the killer bird things - so the first sequence of F2000 took on a whole other meaning

Seriously - the similarities were uncanny.

I saw the Lion King 3D on Friday night, in a cinema about 3/4 full, and I don't know that I saw any kids their either. Mostly people around my age who grew up in the 90's.

Compared to Beauty and the Beast last year, I found the picture to be a little soft and the 3D very rarely popped out as much, and there certainly wasn't any 'ballroom' showcase of 3D, which I thought the Circle of Life sequence might have been able to achieve.

Still, as clichéd as it sounds, it was like watching the movie for the first time...again. I'd be interested to know how the 3D Blu Ray looks.

Hey y'all,

According the the Big W website at
http://www.bigw.com.au/Offer/WinnieThePooh
Winnie The Pooh is exclusive to Big W from October 5th? Has anything liked this happened before?

JB Hi-Fi has the standard LK trilogy set on Blu Ray for $85 and an 8 Disc set for $115.

I am kinda torn between which set to buy. 3D or not 3D. DVD copies don't really worry me too much.

Yes, there have been several bundles (double packs) and titles (Walt Disney Treasures) which were exclusive to specific shops (BigW, Coles, JB Hi-Fi, Woolworths) in the past.

If you don't want all three movies, I would avoid the trilogy. The Lion King 1.5 and 2 will be released separately next year in the USA, and I expect in Australia in the future too.

I'm buying the 2D version because it comes with the DVD lol. I like that I can lend the DVD to my siblings or friends, or play it on a computer.

If the boarder was completely white, instead of white and grey, I seriously would contemplate the 3D version.
