Yeah, I think NBC has the best sitcoms. I am looking forward to Couplings, this fall. I hope it's good. I use to watch Just Shoot Me, which I thought was funny, but I haven't seen it in a long long time, and I also use to like Fraisier, but since I don't watch much TV anymore, and mainly watch Survivor, on thursdays when it is on, I don;t get to see my favorite sitcoms much anymore  ...
Oh and I have to give credit to Scrubs, which I think is a great show, and I look forward to season sets of that, which I hope will be at a reasonable price of like no more that $30...

Well that's it on sitcoms... Thanks Sulley for the info. :)

Possible Bad News for Iron Giant[/color] :(
Warner Bros. Continues to Delay The Iron Giant Special Edition
(by digitalmediafx.com) Warner Bros. continues to internally delay the release of the much-anticipated "The Iron Giant Special Edition DVD." The first unofficial release date was earlier this year, followed by a late July or early August release. Now the DVD has been moved to an "iffy" December release, according to a Digital Media FX reader who spoke with a Warner Bros. representative at the recent animation WACFEST.

Warner Bros. has yet to officially announce a release date for The Iron Giant Special Edition, even though it has had the main footage and special features completed since late Spring. To read about the special features, click here

This was a Holiday Special that debuted in 1986 or '87.
Remember the California Raisins? Little claymation characters that sang soul melodies in commercials?
Yes, i remember them. My brother had all of the little plastic figures. We recorded the special off tv and watched it every year up until about 1995 when i reached teenhood and i wouldn't be caught dead watching that... Yeah, now my teen years have come and gone and i AM excited that it is going to be released....

Anyway, my must have list for the remainder of 2003 and all of 2004:
Lion King giftset
Sleeping Beauty
Escape from Witch Mountain
Holes
Finding Nemo
The Looney Tunes Golden Collection
All of Walt Disney Treasures Wave 3
Will and Grace season 1
Smallville season 1
Indiana Jones trilogy
Lilo and Stitch SE
Alice in Wonderland SE
A Claymation Christmas
LOTR- TTT 4Disc extended edition
Matrix Reloaded
X2
Bringing Down the House
How to lose a guy in 10 days
Theres something more about Mary
Simpsons seasons 1,2,3
Dances with wolves
Anger Management
Bruce Almighty
Pocahontas SE
Brother Bear
Mary Poppins SE
Aladdin Platinum
And whatever March's Platinum release is
And maybe Pirates of the Caribbean once i see it

Geez, thats a long list. Looks like i've got to rejoin columbia house again and again, and again...lol

I read a couple of runors yesterday about two more possible December/January Releases:

Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season 1
Gods and Generals: Director's Cut (6-hour version)

If these do fall into place things just got a bit more expensive for me :o :D

That Claymation special sounds really sweet - it combines a number of things I love - the '80s, claymation, Christmas, and the California Raisins.

On a slightly-related note, the Thanksgiving episode of "Home Improvement" that Will Vinton Studios did is perhaps my favorite of all episodes. :)
