Yeah, Striperella does sound cheesey, I'll give it a try. As well as the Gary the Rat cartoon. I am most excited about Ren & Stimpy, that was such a fun show. Maybe being on TNN will give someone to release a DVD set of all their cartoons? Uncut! I am just hoping that the new ones are as good as the old ones.

Well, I just got done watching the new Ren & Stimpy show. It was funny, but there are some things that are going to take some getting used to.
1. Stimpy's voice is different. It's okay... but I was used to the original.
2. Swearing. They swear quite a bit in this new series, they didn't in the old one. I wasn't offended or anything, again it is just different and takes some getting used to.
3. Gay? Yes in this one they seem to be very gay. In the orignial they implied things a lot or had a sly glance here and there. But this one is very blatant and in your face.
So, it was good and I am glad that I taped it. I need to watch it a few more times to get used to the new stuff, but I think that I can get over the changes since it is as bizarre and funny as the original.
I am watching Gary the Rat right now... it is okay so far.

Yeah, I had heard this was the direction they were taking.Maerj wrote:

Not sure how successful that approach will be on TNN of all networks, though.
