Yeah, they did a KILLER job on Faith, and for the record she's one of my favorite characters; I love Eliza Dushku. And I'm equally crazy about the Angel one. I'd get the Buffy one just cause... well, it's Buffy lol. But I can do without the Willow and Spike (not pictured) ones.

Yeah, I looked at those pictures you posted of the others, and Faith's and Angel's are by far the best. I'd be interested in the Spike one (he's my favourite character). Cordelia would be cool, but Anya would be better!xxhplinkxx wrote:Yes they are! They also have Buffy, Willow, and Spike in the line so far. Willow wasn't really anything special, and I'm not a big Spike fan. I liked Buffy's even though it didn't look close enough to Sarah Michelle Gellar for me, however it sold out like a year ago and are going for like $600 on eBay if it was more affordable I'd definitely get Buffy as well, though. I hope they do a Cordelia one, too!

Well I just put myself on the waiting list for the Exclusive Angel one (the exclusive part being that it comes with a change-out vamp-faced version of him). So I'm hoping it'll convert and I can actually get the vamp Angel. If so, then I'll also buy Faith and Buffy on eBay. But I'll stop there.
Some other ones I'm eyeing are this Spider-Man Sideshow piece that now goes for like... $900+ on eBay :'(
And this Bowen Dark Phoenix that's way older so I'm having trouble hunting one down
Also, would LOOOOVE this Sideshow Ninja Turtles collection. But they came out in 2010 so they're not going for anything less than $500 each online

I seen that at one of my comic book stores near me. Look neat. Though even though I like Jean Grey, I'm not a fan of her Dark Phoenix/Phoenix look even though it's super popular. I like her Jim Lee 90's one the best.
That great thing about living in northern NJ/ NYC. Great comic book stores are near me and so I'm able to get hard to find statues easily. Fuck yeah. Not to mention you can have them order any rare statues for you.

I hate you, and I'm jealous. I almost won the Jim Lee Jean on eBay two days ago but some jackass outbid me LITERALLY at the last second. I was so pissed!Super Aurora wrote:I seen that at one of my comic book stores near me. Look neat. LOL OH WOW that suck for you about the ebay thing.
Well The the three I usually go to are:
-Jim Hanley's Universe in NYC
-Forbidden Planet in NYC
-Joker's Child in Fair Lawn, NJ
all three have websites but I don't think you can order any of their stuff from online. You have to go to the place to get them. You can go to the store itself and have them order what ever you wish to get. Just have to go back to store to get the item.

Hm. Well it's still worth checking out. Hell, I'll pay extra if they have what I want for them to ship it to me. I'll look online now for their sites. And YES I was so angry about the eBay thing, you have no idea. Ugh.
Edit: Well, I looked online. Only Forbidden Planet has an online store but they don't have what I want

I see.
Also I never understood or got why ebay has to be through bidding. Why can't it be like Amazon...

Some sellers do offer a "Buy Now" option, but usually they're greedy and have the price set and something ridiculously high, whereas you're better off taking your chances bidding and winning it at a lower price. Also, there's an option that lets you make a counter-offer to their "buy now" asking price. But they usually turn it down.

Oh yeah I forgot there is 3 Midtown comics book stores in NYC too. They're pretty big comic store company and even are the sponsors to NYC comic con. I know they will awesome figures too. i check their site and they don't have 90's Jean Grey up there, but it is possible they could have it in the stores itself. I'll have to stop by any of them to see.

I would love those Turtles sculptures. I'd dream of getting them someday if there was an April in the set, ha. Maybe Electric Tiki will do her someday.
Just for the heck of it, some more sculptures I really wanna get... (the few I could find on Amazon, whose pictures seem to be the most reliable for reposting here):
There's a Rollercoaster Rabbit Jessica too.
I believe you can change him to a Rollercoaster Rabbit Roger by switching his hand for an extra one that holds a balloon!
I think they could have done Tink's face better, but I would want it for the set anyway.

I live in Mickey's back yard, Orlando. :-/ Believe me, I wish I was in NYC. I went there this past Christmas for the first time and LOVED it. Been wanting to live there for years.

LOL.
Bowen made them.
The Valkyrie one is pretty decently big.
The black widow one look tall cause the base stand make it look tall. Figure wise, it's similar to the Jean Grey one.
I got these today when I took Disney Duster and PrincePhillipfan over to the comic book store I go to (Joker's Child). the two I brought were the last one the store had.
Also they had a Cyclops one that you don't have, at least the one that wasn't shown in your post.

lol that's ok, I'm done buying Cyclops' for now. I'm focusing on my Buffy collection and trying to snag up some of the Ninja Turtles from my previous post (one JUST slipped through my fingers tonight... damn you, eBay!). And, of course, trying to find those Jean/Phoenix's I want.Super Aurora wrote:Also they had a Cyclops one that you don't have, at least the one that wasn't shown in your post.

Yeah, I've seen all 3 of those at my comic shops as well. But not the ones I, or anyone else, wants lol. Jim Lee and [Dark] Phoenix for me, please
