It sounds to me like all the doctors you're meeting are having trouble knowing what's truly going on and that maybe your asperger's is having you seem uncoopertaive and make them say you're throwing fits or making stuff up (?) or don't know what you're saying (?) didn't they say stuff like that? And unfortunately maybe your family is having trouble explaining that to them...? I don't know. Maybe you should appeal to some specialists or psychologists to say what you've got and get those doctors to understand you and take you more seriously and finally help you the right way.
Basicly, some doctors last year made things more hard than they had to, and since being off my gi pills my immune system over reacts more. lately i've been in a flight or fight mode. However I'm moving forward. My New primary trusts my story, but he has to go with stuff in a proper way. This new family doctor is not at Carle in mattoon. he's for Sarah Bush Lincoln.

I'll update later

espcially how looking back at this moment to then, there is a lot of good of this. Miracles in disguise.

Okay, this, was really had and has to be the creepiest disrespectful doctor visit I've ever been to with Carle Clinic in Urbana.

First I had the MRI on Saturday and it showed I have a herniated disc about the Sciatic nerve. I weigh 335 pounds still have not done anything to lose or maintain (except for bed rest) and the X-ray I had this morning in the ER and it showed severe pissed off arthritis. which I found the info this morning at the er to check have my foot checked out that I thought I heard like a tear or a crunch.

So I went to the Spine Doctor, once my family was back there, they said they wanted only one person to be back with me. Dad was already out in the waiting room thanks to a phone call. I was in Disbelieve having them make me choose, between my mom and my fiance. They said I could choose only one, and my fiance was having some troubles with it (stress) and then when I was about to like cry due to craziness, the RN said gestured to someone in a hallway and said come on boys. It was Carle Security Cops. Only 2 of them. This was Premeditated. My Mom stepped out and stood in front of the door and kept myself and Jess safe from Carle Cops.We saw the doctor with my mom, and she didn't really do anything much. In the Waiting room, the secretaries were snickering and laughing. My dad snapped his fingers at them and shouted don't laugh at my son, you all started this whole situation you dummies. We all 4 decided we are going to leave Carle and just see my Family Practice doctor in mattoon (not Carle) and get me with aquatic therapy. Today is the end of that journey and long asinine battle of simple things that Carle made them more complicated than the real situations were (every single time). I feel at peace with this. This experience is something I've seen Milo J Thatch on his signature of a quote by Walt Disney

All the adversity I've had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me... You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.

Wow, it sucks that that all happened to you. A doctor's office should be a safe place. I think it's smart of you to not go to this doctor anymore. Can you get all the care you need at your family doctor? You're in my thoughts and prayers!

What a terrible, terrible clinic and doctors and cops and secretaries. All awful, bad, bad people. Doctors and cops shouldn't be like that, they are supposed to help people and make them feel good and taken care of. It is so good you're dumping their asses!!!

Well, It's Been 9 weeks today since my back pain started. Also, as I lose the weight, my back pain gets worse (which is totally bass ackwards, and my muscle tone is gone. I'm now having major nerve attacks on my left hip to my foot, (MRI showed I have a herniated disc) When I lay down, my left rib cage is visible through my skin. I can't see a pain doctor until July, primary says no pain pills,

meanwhile I passed out on the toilet and saw faces flash and then water was on the floor woke me up, the toilet tank broke (it had a crack in it already). Please keep my family in your prayers.

They need to take care of that herniated disc. That is what is causing you so much pain. Have you looked up what's happening to you and what a herniated disc is online? It sounds like it should heal on its own but if it doesn't you may have other problems about you (like your weight? genetics?) that keep it from healing sooner and you need surgery.

Are you losing weight because you're supposed to be from some treatments your getting or is it something you're not supposed to be doing because you're not doing/taking anything to lose the weight?

You are in my prayers, of course.

On Tuesday it will be 10 weeks since this back pain has lasted and got worse week after week.

a more local spine/pain center is around, though I won't be seen until mid July :|

So a back up plan (pun may be intended :P ) is to see a person is Saint Louis that knows me and when i told the nurse on the phone regarding myself on Jay Leno, immediately the nurse remembered me. It hurts to sit on my own rear end with this sciatica herniated disc pain. When It hurts to sit on your own rear end, for 10 weeks, you got problems. I see the doctor in Saint Louis the end of June (Never Thought Jay Leno had my back)

However on tuesday I see my psychiatrist in that direction

Also I have a huge ulcertive colitis swelling. Er popped it , I screamed Like a sailor. now it hurts even worse right now :brick:

OMG you popped that? Oh my gosh you poor guy, to deal with that pain is remarkable. I know that eating bad, fatty and sugary foods can make it hard to pass stuff through your intestine and rectum, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I even have trouble because I like sugar so much, I must embarassingly admit. I'm trying to cut back and eat way more fiber and vegatables these days. I'm doin' better.

I don't understand why your herniated disc has been this way for that long. But it's really great you're seeing someone soon who sounds like he really likes you and will be very happy to help you.

Hang in there. You have my prayers as always.

I think it's time for an update.

A few things first though

On June 25th I noticed and felt my other hip, and right leg doing some of the minor things that erupted into what the other hip started to do in April. This right hip leg is hurting and probably since I've been favoring the other leg.

On the 29th I went to see the Pain Doctor my mom has seen in the past, which being home schooled, I went with her to see him sometimes to learn about things such as taking care of appointments and doctors and such, due to I'll always have more than 1 doctor.

Anyways it went very well, he put me on some pain pills, and order aqua physical therapy and getting a spine injection at the end of the month

though I'm hurting still so much, both legs.

Although we just got a call, and I'm having an injection tomorrow in Saint Louis. I know this isn't going to be easy, and painful, but it will, since this Doctor knows me from a long time ago.

Say Some prayers and cross your fingers, this will hopefully work.

My grandmother has spine injections, so I have some idea of what you might be going through in the time to come. Hopefully, it'll help with the pain though.

The spinal injection wasn't at all bad as I thought it would be.

It helped, a lot. Although there were a few side effects, like a spinal headache, which is a whole differ kind of headache I've ever had in my life....the doctor said it could take 3 days to a week for the positive effects to work, though the positive effects are already working, I still have to take it easy. Yesterday I was dizzy and the room was spinning a lot, it was like Dorothy in transit to Oz via a Twister. I puked a bit yesterday. However my back was feeling better than It has in a long time. Now the dizziness has gone away, and my back hurts a little, but for once in a years time, things are finally looking like the cup is half full, rather than half empty.....and my Ulcerative colitis is doing better also

Here is some info on what a spinal injection is

Thanks for the information about spine injections.

The side affects sound pretty rough, but if things are looking better than they have in years, then that's wonderful. Image

Update,

Physical Therapy will be starting on Monday. I've been out of thgh e house a couple times, though I probably overdid it. Overall though, even though I have some aches, I feel a hell of a lot better than I did a week ago. And I want to thank everyone on this forum, you've also been supporting my family with me telling them we are in many prayers worldwide. There will always be tough stuff, and I have work walk with my left leg and posture due to some hyper tension and some nerves. I will continue to give updates when possible. Thank you and hopefully, this physical therapy can help heal the herniated disc.

Last Weekend (on the 25th of July) I was at my Grandmas house. There was a Dr Seuss book on the floor and I slipped on it and I fell on a bunk type of old metal frame bed and I landed on the hip that has the herniated disc. Yay. I was very very swollen, so bed rest was required

Now Last Night I slipped on a piece of paper and my foot while I was standing with my cane had a burning shock to it so I lost control of my body and fell onto my bed that I've been using since April and hit my hip on the bed hard and it'sp even more swollen now so off to the ER we will go. Also there something on the left side of my body of if it gets touched, my foot and leg just kick up....

Ironically the book I tripped on at grandmas was Dr Sues' The Foot Book

Oh no! Oh man! I am so sorry to hear all that. You keep slipping because you're learning to walk again, I guess? Aw, man, but that means you will get there! I'm really, really glad to hear that for the most part, you're getting better!!!

And that book is ironic. Lol.
