Doctors are Human, though lately I've felt like the doctors are treated as highly as god, or king or a huge celebrity who won't do wrong and are pure evil if they slip up, like the Dean in Patch Adams wanting to expel Patch Adams for "Excessive Happiness" with the real reason is the Dean was stuck up Dick

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/QebGv6a7TJU" frameborder="0"></iframe>

It's okay to question your doctor, because overall in history I know myself 10X better than the doctor knows me when it comes to recurring Chronic issues that I'll probably not be rid of. A patient shouldn't have to bow to the doctor as if they were royalty on a higher level. If a doctor doesn't work together at the same level or as equals with their patient, nothing works, which is how I have felt during this past 7th month.

I am going to be having another sleep study soon, and I'll have to wear a pulse ox thing (something at a routine checkup, they ask for your finger and check your pulse and heartbeat.) only thing this one is wireless, and I'm not sure if that will happen during the sleep study or what details there are.

Although regarding this pain, I've been listening to this song, which the title of it is It just won't quit, which in this song by Meatloaf I refer the blessing or the curse regarding my pain though all of this, in someways it's a blessing, I've lost weight, without trying though, but I have enough weight that I can for sure lose. Also I hope to get weighed this week. I'm interested how much I weigh from last week.

Also this scene from Patch Adams, not look at the fingers, it's really good.

Update

I'm going to see a differ Primary Doctor, I'll be going to the same one my fiance goes to. Also the MRI came back and I don't know much, except there are some bulging discs in my spine that are bulging inward on my left side of my back. The Way they are bulging is almost inward. Although now I am some bad GI issues. Also I'm not sure how much I weigh. It really hurts in my back and my upper left side. Also I will see the neurologist who ordered the MRI to be done next week as well.

Oh my! Bulging discs in your back? Sounds bad! But it sounds like they located the problem so the next steps might be targeting them and fixing them! Let's hope!

I've heard bulging discs are nasty.

I hope you feel alot better when they are treated and I wish you all the best for your MRI scan.

I had the MRI already, which showed bulging discs. I'll be seeing the neurologist who ordered the MRI next week. Also I will be seeing a new doctor, due to the doctor who acted like the rear end of a Donkey (not named Eeyore)

Anyway, we will keep moving forward, and do what must be done to treat these "bulging discs".

Also I've been having other symptoms such as some GI issues, which could be pressure of my body fighting this since July. Although when I see a pair of jeans that I wore in December are a circus tent now.

Quick Update - Through some talking with the admin of some situations, I have switched now to the same doctor my fiance sees.

Okay, last week I saw pain management regarding some bulging discs, and the doctor at pain management said that my bulging discs how they look couldn't be causing this pain, and when my mom told her about, well crap, and she listened. When I saw a pain management about 2 weeks ago, I weighed 388 and today I weighed in at 369.

So today I saw a GI Specialist, and we all talked, and basically, "the works" including a colonoscopy. Amen Praise the lord. Also this is what the doctor and my mother said it's something called Perianal Crohn's Disease. Here's a link to read more

It must have been good to get a diagnosis. While it's obviously preferable not to have any health problems, a diagnosis is an answer.

By the way, I realise how I misread the situation with your MRI scan. I thought that you had been through one scan (which had detected your bulging discs) and had been booked for another, but I now realise why that probably wouldn't make much sense.

Anyway, I hope all goes well for you with your new Doctor. :)

I agree- it must be a relief to have more of an idea of what's been going on! Hopefully any new treatment will relieve your discomfort! We're thinking of you!

Okay,

The Tests in urbana regarding my GI will be on Tuesday. Also I've finally been in good standing with the office in my own town, trying to see the good and I thought everything was hunky dory. Well that changed yesterday with a certified mail to me.

I am no longer allowed to have services through the clinic that is based in my own town due to untrust of doctors and me. First off things have been getting better a lot. A lot lot better. Now we finely are on a good trail, and they kick me out (the miscommunication with my aspergers and such and such.) What's more frustrating is that no one has ever told me go away. This letter came as such a shock. It's the equivalent to a boyfriend dumping his girlfriend via text message. I am still having the urbana tests. Hopefully I will meet with someone at the clinic and have a nice lunch talk, and work things out due to this is a joke, given the GI stuff, them controlling me and I could never go to GI in this new clinic because no one would refer me, especially due to last year they took me off the gi pills and things have been getting worse, and no one has addressed the things getting worse or intervene. The Sleep doctor is the one who a month ago gave that referral to the GI. People talk about this Obama healthcare controlling where you can and cannot go to see a doctor....hell it's already here in eastern IL. or goodness sakes.

Please pray, for me and my family as this is frustrating to me and them. through this up and downward and up again and down spiral I've been through with this crap

Turns out at this point, I won't even get to talk and sit down with the doctor or my mom. This is so stressful....please help....I feel so sad.. IDK what to do. Should I sue them, or perhaps I should give up, I won't be able to find a new doctor under these circumstances, so perhaps I should give up. I"m not sure what to do anymore.......all i can do is give up.....and not try again

Pray for me and my family........keep us in your thoughts.....i'm crying typing this....

this is the site, contact them. perhaps people calling would help. or going to the press. Dr. Good is making me feel crazy and helpless

I'am feeling very worried and upset for you. Image

It's so awful that you can be denied services like this, and I think you have every right to go to the press.

My thoughts are with you.

Oh dear goodness. Wow, I'm really sad about this.

I think it would make a bigger help if you went to the press yourself with your story. Why can't you talk to your mom?

In order for us to contact them and tell them what's happening, we'd have to have lots more information, and your first and last name. I don't think us calling could even do much or if it is even allowed.

It's best you fight this thing by telling lots of people, but you could get a support group or an alert to your cause maybe by making a Facebook group that notifies and informs people and tells them how to help you or calling people you know to help if you have connections with people in high places.

Well, apparently after the 23rd of April will be the day I get boot from the local Carle Clinic in Mattoon, IL

Also Tuesday Will be the colonoscopy at Carle in Urbana so if that shows something, perhaps they'll eat crow. I'm going to see what that shows, and also someone told us to go through the channels of patient service with paperwork and such. If things are still the way they are after April 23rd. Also It's asinine that I can still see the specialist doctors who come from Urbana, I just can't see them in Mattoon. In order to see a specialist I'd have to drive an hour, as oppose to 5 minutes when the Urbana Doctor is in Mattoon. Which is even more frustrating.....

that's good to hear Super Aurora :)

and regarding the results today of my colonoscopy

They said they didn't see anything that was major infected, however they took some biopsy's and those results of what they may show I won't know for a couple of weeks. So I think if nothing shows up, they may funnel me into the right direction if need be. '

It's good to hear that your colonoscopy didn't show any major infections, and I hope your biopsy results are favorable.

Stay positive. Image
