Disney at Mcdonald's again

Post by Mushu »

I was just the food court at my local mall and my sister and her friend wanted to eat food from Mcdonalds so when we were in line I saw the display of toys and they have new Disney toys to celebrate Disneyland's 50th anniversary. I had to get a happy meal as well once I saw them. I got a Minnie toy with card number 7. (They each come with some sort of card. My sister and her firend both got Mickey's. I don't know all of the toys that they have but besides these two I recall seeing a stitch, donald, and tinkerbell toy in the display. As much as I hate getting food from Mcdonalds I am going to have to go back and get more. :)

Are these them?

Image

Image credit to EBAY. See, I give credit. :P Sorry for the bad view, but it's the only image I could find.

Looks like there's Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Buzz, Goofy, Donald, Tinkerbell, Pluto, Chip & Dale, and what appears to be Simba. I might get some. I love McDonald's, and the toys look neat.

What kind of card was it? Was it like a special, collectable, golden, super shiny, 50th Anniversary spectacular card, or was it just a crappy picture of the toy that has McDonald's logo on it?

Ya, those are them. The cards are kind of 3-D and have a random picture on them and then it as a little writing on the back of it. The card that I got was a picture of Bell and the Beast at a live stage show. On the back of it it says, 7 Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage
This tale as old as time comes to life in a magnificent Broadway-style production at the Disney Studios. My sister had a picture of the Sleeping Beauty Castle and her friend had a picture of the Cinderella castle.

Yes, they will have a page on these toys but they are supposed to have Hot Wheel's/Barbie toys until September 1st so the page probably won't update until September 2nd.

I like McDonalds. I don't eat it like everyday, but they're atleast cheap and sometimes good (I only like the french fries, really).

Disney's gotta make some money somehow and this is the "quickest" and by that I mean the first thing they think of, obviously, that'll make a quick buck.
Not alot of money, but hey, it's money.
Yay Stitch and, do my eyes deceive me? Chip N Dale? How long has it been since they had something out that was Chip N Dale related?
They should make more stuff with those guys....

It's probably not out there yet there. It's not here either.
Either it'll come out in a bit here, or they're not doing it here.

In the U.S (Where I live), the Disney toys aren't supposed to come out until the 2nd according to the website so the Mcdonald's that I went to just had them early.
