It wasn't judged for the artwork really...more for the story. Mine was critiscized as being "amusing, but nothing really stood out", "the humour was forced" and it was too long. What makes me feel like a fish out of water on Final Fantasy Shrine Forums is that most people there have to turn every thread into a sexually perverted one. Bad words and vulgar language rule. In fact, all the other comic strip entries had some vulgar or sexual stuff included. I don't know how to make stuff like that, and I don't want to do it anyway. If I want to joke that way, I only do it with my closest friends, not on the internet where everybody can read it.
However, just like you can't judge a book by it's cover, you can't judge a person by what you see on a forum. I still post at Final Fantasy Shrine, because although everyone can be vulgar, a lot of people there are still nice and have good intentions, even if their joking consists of constantly mentioning sexually oriented words. I think I must be the only one on Final Fantasy Shrine who has never uttered a vulgar word.
