I'm glad these are getting released, but they are a pass for me. I didn't care for these Herbie movies, plus throw in the Lohan abomination as well.

For anyone who is interested, I received these films the other day and had a chance to watch at least part of these films. Monte Carlo is listed as 1.66:1 and upon watching the film, the description seems accurate. Bananas is listed as 1.85:1 and also seems to be correct.

I agree with others that I wish the exclusives line stuck with releasing relatively obscure television films, it seems the Herbie films should enjoy general release. But I am also glad to finally have these films in their proper aspect ratio and a nice looking image. I wonder if we might get the Apple Dumpling Gang sequel on Blu-ray as we have already the Herbie sequels available.

Like the reports of Mark Twain's death, that comment might be a bit premature: a 2-Movie DVD Collection of Mr. Boogedy and Bride of Boogedy is being released as a DMC Exclusive in August.

A pic of the cover is here:

I'm really hoping they release the 3-Part The Prince and the Pauper starring Sean Scully and Guy Williams and the 3-Part Willie and the Yank as DVD DMC Exclusives.

Great to hear from you, merlinjones, and to see your extensive list again, although, truth be told, I wish several of those would have been already released as DMC Exclusives by now!

I think enough time has passed that I can say this: Moseby's Marauders was almost a Generations Collection title. And then it got dropped for some reason. I hope they still put it out as a DMC title, but I'm worried it might not happen at this point. We'll just have to wait and see...
