I’ve seen various threads on this board that list topics, and then say “official thread”. I’m wondering what does it take to make a thread on this board official. Do you just have to be the first person to start a thread on a particular topic, and put “official thread” in the title, or does it require some confirmation from the websites administrators? And why do some people put “official thread” in the title? Is it because they’re discussing some really popular topic, and, rather than have twenty different threads all about the same thing, by making one thread the official one, it will cut down on unnecessary clutter? Does that mean that if someone starts a topic that may not be that popular, there’s no need to put “official thread” in the title? Can anyone answer any of these questions?
Thanks.
What does it take to make a thread “official”?
Official doesnt really mean much except that they hope it'll
Official doesn't really mean much except that the poster hopes it'll be THE topic on whatever it is its about. Sometimes you just cant control where everyone else posts.
