When I was little, my parents have bought me audio tapes of the Disney Favorites series like the ones pictured below:

...and probably my favorite:

Those were one of the best kids music series out there that contained old songs like "Three Blind Mice," "Oh Suzanna," etc. and are still being sold today (I may get them on CD sometime to keep for memories. I'm such a sucker for nostalgia and my childhood). For being 5 and 6 years old, the music was very catchy and the records are just a million times better than the Kidz Bop series.

Well, you're absoultely right about that. And I personally think that kids need time to be kids instead of the miniature grown-ups that people often expect to see.

That's why I play mostly Disney music when I work with kids.

The only thing I found that had Invisible as a worst song was from Blender Magazine..

which isn't at all convincing. I find that to be one of Clay's good songs.

Heh. Both my best friend and my boyfriend originally thought the song was "Invincible," which really changed the meaning. . . after I corrected them, they thought it made him sound like a creepy stalker-type. . .

Personally, I like it because I find it appealing and catchy. I can also relate to it, but I'm sure most people can.

It sounded creepy too, but after listening to it... it has a nice meaning to it. :) Ryan still thinks Clay's a stalker. :p

Did the KIDZ BOP (or whatever) ruin this song yet?

Is it REALLY necessary? I mean it's bad enough to START WITH.

-edit- and since you posted the Blender list (like I was going to  ) here's the VH1 list: http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/50_most_aw ... down.jhtml

Anyhoo, as to the topic itself, I wholeheartedly agree that Kidz Bop is atrocious. The only snippets I've heard of those gawd-awful CDs is the clips that play on their infomercials before I reach for the remote. With my ears bleeding. :P

Unfortunately, the reason they keep making the albums is because, simply enough, they sell. Kind of depresses you... seeing the direction that the human race is taking. And I thought the cheapquels were bad enough.
