Crud! I knew I'd end up forgetting something. It's up there now.TheValentineBros wrote:But, but, but, where's The Office? It's ending this year!

Despite the most recent season being pretty meh, I'm gonna miss Futurama. I guess it was just one of those shows that was meant to be canceled, but I'm still sad to see it go again.

Don't forget 30 Rock!
The later seasons have not been particularly strong, but I'll still miss having it on my schedule. The final season was also a little better than the past two or three.
I also love Futurama's original run, but I'm afraid that I did not have much use for Comedy Central's episodes, some great exceptions aside.

I'm not too broken up to see any of these go (Malibu Country was also canceled, to no surprise.). I did watch Smash intermittently, but at its height I didn't feel as strong about it as I did Glee when it was in its prime, for example. I might buy the one season of The New Normal, even though I only saw a few episodes. I'm actually surprised Happy Endings was canceled; I thought it was pretty popular. I also thought Body of Proof was doing well even though I didn't watch it, although I was glad Dana Delaney was still working. Private Practice deserved to go years ago (and how did Grey's Anatomy manage to outlive House, Desperate Housewives, and Ugly Betty...).

Listening to most often lately:
Christina Aguilera ~ "Cruz"
Sombr ~ "homewrecker"
Megan Moroney ~ "Beautiful Things"

I really don't care that Futurama is getting the axe. It was never the same when they brought it back. The plots were pooly written and the jokes were painfully unfunny (making references to movies and shows that contradict the timeline). The 1999-2002 episodes did that sometimes, but these ones were way more obvious. There may have been a few decent episodes, but it didn't help make up for the clunkers.

I will miss The Office, although it was time for it to go. Same goes for 30 Rock.
Re: Must-RIP TV 2013
I'm really out of the loop in TV because I don't watch any of these shows haha. I only watch the shows I am interested in online. I until a good amount of episodes are online and then I have a mini marathon :3
I guess I'll give an honorable mention to "The Office" because I am from Scranton and I watched maybe 2 episodes of an earlier season.

Honestly, I'm glad they've put Smash out of its misery. Now Megan Hilty can find something more deserving of her talents-- whatever that may be. I thought The New Normal was cute, but it was a terrible comedy, so I'm not exactly sad to see it go. I know that the ratings went down this season, but didn't The B-- in Apartment 23 make a bit of a splash last year? It's like a mini-Ugly Betty. As for Malibu Country, I was always curious about it, but never enough to actually watch it. It was enough to know that Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin are still working. I like to watch reruns of Futurama on Comedy Central, but I've never been invested in the series, but that's the one I'm most sad to see go.

Re: Must-RIP TV 2013
I picked Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, as I find that show one of the most hilarious of all. I thought the characters of June and Chloe had great chemistry, and even James Van Der Beek was a hoot. Always love seeing Dreama Walker flip out like crazy.
Body of Proof was lucky to get a 3rd season, which I have not watched. But from what I hear, the changes were not for the better. And CSI: NY had a very nice run, as I still have not gotten around to watching this past season.
I have not seen the last season of 30 Rock, but I thought that show was really running on fumes. They were lucky that NBC is such horrible shape to last this long, because the jokes just seem to be repeated over and over. How useless characters like Frank stayed on the show, is beyond me. It just got old to see Liz Lemon trying to fix everyone's problems, and how she did not have a life outside of work. The only remaining bright spot was definitely Kenneth. I may hate-watch the final season. I made it this far, I might as well watch it all the way to the end.

Liz DID get a life outside of work this season, though. She and Criss got married, adopted two children, and she even briefly retired to raise the kids after TGS got cancelled. After realizing that she is beter suited at working while Criss would be much happier being a stay-at-home dad, Liz sold another pilot to NBC, but still keeps plenty of time for her family.
So at least the show had a happy ending, right?

I'm going to miss Smash, loved the music and the actors. Was a brilliant show but unfortunately I think this season it started to lose quality a bit come mid of the season it's a shame the writing wasn't better. There aren't that many shows out there that I enjoy.
