Premiering Oct 26th 2012 in the UK and Ireland, and in North America on Nov 9, 2012. Filming begins Nov 7.
Sounds like a great cast. Wonder who is going to do the theme song.

Sounds interesting. Can't wait to see it, I enjoyed the last two. I love how they have kept Judi Dench as M too.

You know... I am SO MAD at those jackasses for never choosing Hooverphonic to do one of their themes. What are they, CRAZY? Listen to these and tell me Hooverphonic wouldn't have been a better choice than Garbage:Barbossa wrote:Wonder who is going to do the theme song.

Anyway, I also think Goldfrapp or Air would be equally excellent choices to do the theme. And long overdue. Ladytron would be another intriguing choice. But, if they're going to go with someone more mainstream, I think Rihanna could pull it off well- as "Russian Roulette" and "Man Down" prove pretty well.

‘Skyfall’ shows the true face of new Bond girl Naomie Harris
http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-tal ... 40522.html
http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-tal ... 40522.html
She starred in a pair of movies that made $2 billion worldwide, and you probably wouldn't recognize her if you saw her on the street. Her name is Naomie Harris, and her face is about to get a lot more familiar.
Harris played Tia Dalma, the witchy woman (who was actually the physical embodiment of the sea goddess, Calypso) in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequels "Dead Man's Chest" and "At World's End." With her long dreadlocks, face markings, bloodshot eyes, and very bad teeth, Harris was hardly identifiable as the character.
Now she's trading in her ratty voodoo priestess look for the glamorous but lethal style of a Bond girl in the new 007 adventure, "Skyfall." She plays Eve, a fellow MI6 agent on a mission with James Bond (Daniel Craig). In this exclusive clip.

Was invited to an Advance Screening Sunday evening to see the newest James Bond film "Skyfall" in IMAX.
First of all, let me say that this is without the best Bond film since "Goldfinger", and Adele's contribution with the title song revels Shirley Bassey's title version of "Goldfinger".
One of the longest of the Bond movies at 145 minutes, it is a mind-boggling roller coaster ride of a film. Daniel Craig, who I thought would be a bust as James Bond, is at the top of his game, and after reading in Variety that he did over 85% of his own stunts, I am more impressed with all the special effects in the film.
While the first ten minutes set the tone of this film, the story is never dull, the addition of a younger Q is well done, and Dame Judith Densch has never looked better as M.
The humor is the movie never gets in the way of the storyline, and the movie moves at a break-neck pace. And the ending is no cop-out either.
There have been many different actors portraying James Bond, and my favorite is still Sean Connery, but I think that Daniel Craig is a close second.
This movie gets a full FIVE STAR rating from me, and I don't give out those very often. Don't miss this action film. One of the first to take place mostly in Great Britain.

The intro is beyond breathtaking, especially when paired with Adele's vocals. Just thinking about it gives me the chills. It just goes to show how powerful and moving animation can be. Definitely the best part of the film and the best Bond intro I've ever seen.
The film itself is great as well: well-written, well-shot, well-paced, and, most importantly, well-acted. Fascinating from start to finish. Still, Casino Royale remains my favorite of the (rebooted) series.
