Fawlty Towers Series 1 and 2
When Things Were Rotten (Robin Hood, from Mel Brooks)
Teen Angel - the 1997 TGIF sitcom, not the one with Jason Priestly
You Wish - another 90s TGIF sitcom (with a genie)
Eerie Indiana: The Other Dimension - I'm in the middle of this one right now.

Last night I finished watching Six Feet Under, with the ending episode Everyone's Waiting. Now, I never ever cry, but I pretty much balled the last 20 minutes of the show. I seriously fell in love with the characters and the series and I find it quite sad that the show ended (well, it ended in 2005, but whatever). Eventually I'll rewatch the series, but I don't know if I can sit through the last episode again and again. The first time was bad enough. It's totally true when the critics say that it has one of the best series finales ever, because it truly was grand, and very sad.

Southland, seasons 1-3. This show is underrated. It only got better as it went along and I'm defiantely excited for season 4.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. In all its' Netfli'ky glory. And, like 4 episodes of it too.

(But, don't tell anyone. It's our secret. Not that I enjoyed it. Though I do appreciate when I'm duly horrified by something that I used to be insanely passionate about... when I was 12. And you know what? I'm gonna watch some more today.)

Just finished Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Great show.

Equal parts action, comedy, self references, great stories...

The Nanny - "An Affair to Dismember"

(Now I remember why this is still one of my favorite shows.)

Love The Nanny too. One of the best 90's shows.

Randomly watching episodes of Real Ghostbusters. I have the first two volumes, which I bought at Wal-Mart as they were released, but I've never seen any other volumes there (the third is out, isn't it?). I know I could just buy things online, but I am anal about the condition of the packaging and stuff like that.

I made one a while ago, but haven't updated it at all since.

As long as you talk about ToddintheShadows, all is good. How I love this review.

Me too, if you're including Cinema Snob too. Actually, I usually just watch Cinema Snob and Nostalgia Critic (used to watch AVGN too), and sometimes Snob's other vids. I usually fall behind and have to watch a bunch at once too, ha. I was kind of imitating them with my own show at first, then I realized my video editing software (or the computer I was using it on) was just not effective enough to do what they do. I'm coming back with an Elvira style show when I get settled with a job and apartment... That was my original desire anyway.

I like Brad Jones when he's being himself - and, though I've only watched 1 episode, his 80's Dan incarnation - but I can't stand The Cinema Snob. I've tried about 5 different reviews and, at best, he's boring. There are no real details to his "criticism"s, the sarcasm is bordering on obnoxious (I most recently saw Maniac and his joke wore itself out in under 2 minutes), and I don't enjoy the character. I can't imagine what kind of audience he's aiming these reviews at. Because, as a serious fan of cult flicks and some really nasty movies, I don't find what he's doing fun. With the exception, however, of the videos like Too Smart for Strangers and that Jason / Justine Bateman / Ted Dansen Dating video. But when it comes to low budget horror and cult / exploitation movies, I don't find him insightful or interesting.

Holy shit, did anyone else see the Boardwalk Empire season finale? I can’t believe they knocked off Jimmy. Bring on seasons 3 dammit.

The pilot for HBO’s Luck was disappointing. I wasn’t sure what was going on half the time as I’m not familiar with race tracks and I couldn’t understand a lot of the dialog (the characters either had speech impediments, accents or the lines just weren’t delivered clearly). Honestly, don’t watch this online like I did and watch it on HBO so you can get subtitles, which should make it easier to follow. Either way, the pilot just drops you in the middle of the action with little to no setup for the characters or the surroundings, so it was hard to follow and hard to care about what was happening. The preview at the end for the rest of the season suggest something worthwhile, so I’m going to stick it out, but I’m not optimistic.

Also, the latest Game of Thrones trailer is out:

The recent three-episode adaptation of Great Expectations by the BBC was very enjoyable. Gillian Anderson was very good as Miss Havisham (notably, she's the youngest actress to have ever played the part), Ray Winstone's portrayal of Magwitch was excellent, Harry Lloyd was likable and amusing as Herbert Pocket, and good-looking newcomer Douglas Booth was fairly good as Pip. The first episode opened very well, and after that it was quite captivating until the very end of episode three.

I have been watching the Doctor Who DVDs I got for Christmas. So far it's a pretty interesting show. Right now I am focusing on the episodes on The Beginning DVD set.

An Unearthly Child - The first few episodes, which involved around cavemen were kind of boring, I have to admit. The First Doctor is okay, even if he is a little old (I am still a little unfamiliar with the Doctor Who universe).

The Dalek episodes are proving to be more interesting (I am still working on them)

In the past few days I've watched the first two seasons of Heroes and I have only a few more episodes left of the third season. Even with all of the plot holes and out of character moments, I still love the show. I really wish that it wasn't canceled, but I can't control that. I borrowed the fourth season from the library so I'll start that once I finish the third season. I also watched the first seven episodes of Modern Family; for some reason I only now caught on to how wonderfully hilarious it is.

I've watched a ton since my last post:

Small Wonder Season 1
Small Wonder Season 2
This 80s low-budget sitcom follows a family and their robotic little girl.

The Unusuals
A dramedy police procedural I watched at www.crackle.com , it was pretty good, but cut short at 10 episodes.

Warehouse 13 Season 1
Warehouse 13 Season 2
Warehouse 13 Season 3
I LOVE this quirky show, and I can't wait for season 4! I'm sad to hear that Eureka! got cancelled, though.

Misfits Series 1
Misfits Series 2
Misfits Series 3 (currently watching, as they release new episodes.)
Misfits Special: Vegas
This British show follows a group of young offenders ordered into community service, who suddenly gain super powers from a freak storm. I watched it at www.hulu.com .

John Doe Season 1
Sadly, this was the only season, and they left it with some huge cliffhangers. John wakes up naked on a small island, with no knowledge of his past. He does know ALL other information known by man, however. This is also available at www.hulu.com .

They made a new mini-series of Great Expectations? I wonder how I didn't hear of that. Well, I shall definitely be looking that up! The only adaptation I ever saw of it was dull as anything. But I like the book and love Dickens, so I'm interested.

The reason I came on this thread in the first place, though, was to tell you, Dr. Frankenollie (for Heaven's sake, can I call you something shorter?), that I watched my very first episode of Doctor Who. I decided to start with the episode "Rose," like you recommended. I liked it. I didn't think it was fabulous, but it was enjoyable, if a bit on the silly side. The plastic mannequins gunning down people in the streets was a little hard to buy, but I was very entertained by the Doctor's mannerisms, and I thought Rose was a capable lead. I'm going to keep watching, because from what I hear, it gets better. Right?

Oh, and I also watched episode 2 of Downton Abby, season 2, which is moving along nicely. It's holding up quite well to season 1, which was excellent (despite minor flaws). Is anyone else watching DA?

You can call me 'Doc', or just 'Frankenollie' or simply 'Frank.' :) Anyway, if you're going to watch more episodes of Doctor Who, I think you should frequently bring suspension of disbelief with you in order to enjoy them as much as possible; and yes, it does get better.
