Becasue 1 and 1/2 sucks. It doesn't even make sense, the story happens at the same time as the Lion King. So its not 1 and 1/2 (that would indicate a midquel between Lion King 1 and 2. It should just be 1/2 based on its chronological sequence - mid points in the original story.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I've not seen it so explain it to me.....is 1-1/2 the same film as LK3 in the UK market?

Yes. Apart from the opening title.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I like the Uk trilogy box its great, except for the green triangle with the U, that ruins it!!

I know that ruins all the U.K DVD's even the Treasures tins had as green U. but i think the bbfc who rate all of the DVDs make them show the certificate.

Well, its not the BBFC. Its the law, so its really over their heads. The law not only states it must be present, but also what size it must be.

Love it!! This is awesome! I already have all three of the movies on DVD but I'm gonna have to get this collectors item too!

Sadly, Play don't ship to America.

The Lion King 3 and The Lion King 1 and 1/2 are the same film.

ichabod was talking about the order by the release date and title. Storyline-wise yes, The Lion King II is the last of the series.

To clarify: The Lion King 1.5 was retitled outside the USA and Canada as "The Lion King III," presumably to avoid confusion (though I don't see what's so confusing about it, personally, but..eh.) They ARE the same thing, just the title screen is different.
