It's funny how Don, Peter Behn (Thumper), & Cammie King (Faline) over 65 years have never gotten in touch with eachother. Hopefully after the DVD comes out, they will have a reunion themselves & become friends.

Corny?.......I thought so.

That interview was very cool... what an awesome opportunity, Luke! I especially liked his reflections on Walt. Did you interview him over the phone?

My guess is that they've never even met. It's possible.

I read the interview this morning. It was a good read. :) Great job!

I haven't read any reviews though. I usually read them right before I buy the DVD unless it's one I'm not interested in.

Madonna, thanks for sharing the review link, but there were four threads on Bambi on the first page of General Discussion alone. I've merged your post into this thread, since it's the biggest, the one most people have subscribed to, and sufficient for simply posting a new review link (that's where others have gone), including my own review.

Using existing threads can be better than starting a new one sometimes, and I think this is one of them. Thanks for understanding.

Great review, the caption on the bunny picture was priceless. He didn't even bother to look at the games

I might be wrong, but I think in one of the documentary's on the Bambi DVD there are some pics of the three young stars together!

Although I may be mistaken.

I watched "Disney through the Decades" on disc 2 of the Snow White DVD last night......

When I was watching the 1940's segment and Bambi came on, I was very surprised by the quality of the picture. I am wondering if the digital restoration of Bambi was done back as far as 2001 when the Snow White DVD was released ???

Hmm...I don't know, but they say that this restoration is probably the most thourough restoration ever done, even more than the restoration of Snow White, Fantasia & Dumbo.
