I could tell WALT's TOMORROWLAND is the weakest in Wave 3 but plan on getting it still hey I want the whole set.

I personally can't wait for this one. Tomorrowland is my favorite land at the Magic Kingdom and my favorite Treasure set so far is "Disneyland." I hope there will be treasures for the other lands as well.

I love the behind the scenes of Disneyland stuff.

Cant wait for at least three of the four sets.

It will be very interesting to see what they thought space was like and how by now everything would be runnign on atomic power.

One may not be as interested in the concept of "Tomorrowland" as in the classic animated shorts, but, apart from that, is there really anything that makes this set "the weakest in Wave 3"...?

I have the other three treasures on pre-order (heck, they've been on pre-order for months and months now). I will probably pick this one up to complete the set, but I'm not as excited about it as the other stuff.

The Disneyland Treasure so far has been my least favorite, and this disk seems to be very much in that vein. I only wish they would come out with a WDW Treasure. Yes, I know Walt had passed on by the time the park opened. Still, as the biggest (and IMO) best park, I think WDW deserves a treasure. I'd love to see a retrospective on how WDW was built and has changed over the years.

Cant comment on the differences between Disneyland and Walt Disney World as I am a veteran of DL but have never been to WDW. However, we know Walt built WDW to do right what had been done wrong at WDW and given the extra space and all the extra parks that are not at DL I am sure it is the better park.


I would love to do a WDW vacation/Disney Cruise combo someday.

I too would love to see the WDW set.

This is the one I have been waiting for for too long.

First, Walt Disney World is not a park. I hate when it's refered to as such, it's selling it so short. Such a release has no place in this series, since Walt did not have anything to do with the construction of Walt Disney World besides selecting its location.

The only thing that Walt did on Disney World will be included in the Tomorrowland set, and that should be it. Oh and Disneyland is still the best Disney park.

I know each is entitled to his own opinion, and I've never been to Disneyland, but I'm curious as to why you think it's better (aside from it being the first, of course). Care to explain?

And are you sure Walt didn't have anything to do with WDW except selecting its location? I know he died around the onset of construction, but I'm sure he was involved with a lot of the planning. Furthermore, I don't think that the Treasures sets have to be restricted to the Walt-era alone, esp. not where WDW is concerned. It was still his vision and his planning, it simply wasn't completed while he was alive.

I think this set will be very interesting. Looking to the past to see where the people of that time thought the world was going, and comparing to what it actually is now is just amazing to me. It's like reading George Orwell's "1984" and realizing it's twenty years later than that...

I could go land by land and say why Disneyland is better then Magic Kingdom. But that would be going so off topic, so I won't post it here.

No, Walt did not have anything to do with the the Disney World that is there today. According to Dave Smith, at the time of his death Magic Kingdom was not even planned out yet (he didn't even approve the Castle), and he was working on Epcot which was never built. Roy decided to build the Magic Kingdom first since the Company already knew how to do that, and it was Roy who decided to trash Epcot since Walt was dead. Not to belittle Walt Disney World because it's great, but it does leave Disneyland as Walt's stand alone greatest achievement. And that's despite the Propoganda Disney Co. keeps putting out right down to the Disneyland Quote on Florida's Partners Statue and Jimminy saying before SpectroMagic that Walt's favorite time at Magic Kingdom was at night.

These are Walt Disney Treasures, so they have to be restricted to his work. Its right there in the title. And since the current WDW doesn't really look much like what his vision was there is no justification to have one in this series. "EPCOT" should be it.

Anything with Walt himself in it is going to be entertaining to me, just for that if nothing else.

Actually I am not sure it is completely off topic to go into Disneyland vs WDW.

I have heard people who have done both have both points of view.

I have been to Disneyland well into the double digits(not bad for a Canadian eh) but never to WDW, but plan to.

A Disneyland Resort vs Walt Disney World debate is not my intent, just to clarify. I have been to both, and I love both but Disneyland is still the best Disney theme park, I think. Way better than any of the four Florida theme parks.

Well it's not fair to compare the 'Disneyland Resort' to one Florida park- you should compare it to the 'Walt Disney World Resort.' As far as resorts go- WDW has so much more and is so much bigger, I would almost always choose to go there instead.
