I kind of worry that these designs will look creepily uncanny in CGI. Well, I guess they already kind of looked a bit odd hand-drawn too. It's a given that Muppets work best as puppets.

Still, it's awesome that Disney keeps on giving the Muppets so much love. Even if Most Wanted grossed below expectations and the ABC show was canceled, Disney never seems to stop trying with the franchise. This is extremely apparent at Walt Disney World, where the Muppets are getting a (very well-done) show, a high-tech meet-and-greet opportunity and a restaurant during this year. A lot of the Disney executives must be huge fans.

Even though I am a 90's baby and I only have vague memories of seeing reruns of Muppet Babies, I say I would get behind this so that children can enjoy some good Muppet fun. And most of all I think those who grew up with the Muppet Babies would probably be happy to see their kids watch it as well. If you think about it, so many 80's shows have been revived in this decade that it is probably inevitable that Muppet Babies would get their turn.

I loved this show!

Those new designs aren't too bad tbh, or at least they could be worse. We'll see how horrifying they look in motion.

I only wish this could have the same tone as the original, very much a "kids show" but with lots of irreverent, satirical, and surprisingly smart humor. Of course I have my doubts considering the rest of the absolute rubbish Disney puts out for the preschool set these days. Maybe they'll make an exception for Muppets?

Agreed! It's amazing how many chances they get considering their long history of failures. Even some of Disney's own hits get shoved into the vault without any love, but Muppets are always around in some capacity. My only fear is that they'll eventually fade away since younger generations don't care about them as much as people who grew up with them. Hopefully this new show is a start.

I like it. Not as much as the original show's song, but I like it.

That song is so terrible imo. What is it with themesongs in remakes of kids shows and trying to sing them in the worst way imaginable? Magic school bus is another one.

The rendering style is also weird. They got the fur shader looking pretty good, but ones with short fuzz like piggy look comparatively uncanny and low budget.
