I'm surprised nobody else has commented on this! I'm very excited for Tuesday. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I love watching these two movies every year. It would have been nice for them to make this a 3-movie collection to include 2001's Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed In At The House Of Mouse.

I can't wait for this release, either! Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas movies. And "Twice Upon a Christmas" is a very cute movie, too.
I also wish they release a blu-ray for Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed In At The House Of Mouse at some point...

I went out yesterday and bought this, and I must say - both films look fantastic! That's really no surprise considering they came out in 1999 and 2004.
My one gripe is the extras. I realize that the films have never been on Blu-Ray before and that fitting two movies AND the (already light) platter of bonus features may be cutting it close in terms of space on the disc, but did they really have to author ALL-NEW DVD discs for this release? The first movie's disc drops the SHeDAISY music video. Not that it's anything phenomenal, but it would be nice to have for festive or nostalgic purposes. I understand the original DVD's release was only in Fullscreen, so to author a new disc with the film's presentation in Widescreen is understandable. It just does not make sense to drop a bonus feature that - while nothing major - certainly is not the worst.
The same applies for the second film. Both the DVD and Blu-Ray drop the games that were included on the film's original release. Again, nothing major, but it'd be nice for them to retain them. There wasn't much need for them to author an all-new DVD disc for this film, as the original release looked great.
I just wish Disney hadn't wasted time and money authoring all-new DVD discs for the films just to drop bonus features and update trailers and menus. Having the original Gold Collection DVD for Once Upon A Christmas and the original DVD for Twice in this set wouldn't have bothered me. The fact that they authored all-new DVD discs makes the fact that there's not a DVD-only reissue for these films even more puzzling.
Either way, both films look spectacular and I look forward to enjoying this collection every holiday season.
