I just started collecting them again on Blu-ray. I'm cherry picking this time around, but I have a long way to go! Some may not even make it to blu but we'll see.

It's only now that I'm really collecting them. Thinking out loud, I have 12/13 platinums, plus Alice, Lilo, Pocahontas, Bolt, Robinsons, Mouse Detective, PatF, Atlantis, Emperor, Planet, Hunchback, Mulan, Tarzan, NBC(is it even a DAC?), Sword, Cauldron, Aristocats, Fantasia, 2000, Dumbo

32 out of 49. not bad.

I have 3 left to upgrade from VHS: Lion King, Fun and Fancy Free and Melody Time.

I have two package features left to hunt down: Ichabod/Mr. Toad and Make Mine Music. Aside from that I belive I only need Bolt.

So that's pretty good. 3 left to buy in order to own them all, regardless of format. 6 if you want to be picky :P

If I hadn't lost my copies of Cinderella and Treasure Planet when I moved, I'd be all set, but I'll get them back eventually. :)

Can't wait for Tangled! Image

I have everything up through Meet the Robinsons, and will eventually replace my standalone DVDs for Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons with the Blu+DVD versions that come out on Tuesday. Still need Bolt and The Princess and the Frog, both of which I'll get in Blu+DVD as I don't need the digital copy. Tangled will be a Day One purchase for me, and my wallet will hate me as I'm already planning to get The Ten Commandments Blu-Ray/DVD Gift set, the King of Kings Blu-Ray, the Antony and Cleopatra DVD, and the complete series of "Upstairs, Downstairs".

I don't feel like looking, but I think I feel safe in saying that I own all the DACs on DVD except for "Bolt" which I found underwhelming but will probably get on Blu-ray if I see it cheap enough someday and "Dinosaur" which DOESN'T COUNT. Also because the Blu-ray release is so craptacular and owning it would necessitate me buying the two-disc DVD to have the special features also.

Well, let's see...

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio
Fantasia
Dumbo
Bambi
The Three Caballeros
Fun and Fancy Free
The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad
Cinderella
Alice in Wonderland
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
101 Dalmatians
The Sword in the Stone
The Jungle Book
The Aristocats
Robin Hood
The Black Cauldron
The Great Mouse Detective
The Little Mermaid
The Rescuers Down Under
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Lion King
Pocahontas
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Mulan
Tarzan
Fantasia 2000
The Emperor's New Groove
Lilo and Stitch
Brother Bear

So that makes 35/50, basically the main obvious classics with a few obscurer ones thrown in for good measure. Of course, I also have a few live-action films, Treasures and Pixar films thrown in for good measure. Equally, I have some duplicate copies of some due to having upgraded and not getting round to selling off the old edition. When I finally get a Blu-Ray player later this year (waiting to go back to the UK for good first), I'll probably also end up finally getting some of the more recent films (Chicken Little excluded, mind you ;)).

Let's see. I have:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Pinocchio
Fantasia
Dumbo
Saludos Amigos
The Three Caballeros
Alice in Wonderland
The Jungle Book
Robin Hood
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The Little Mermaid
The Rescuers Down Under
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Tarzan
Fantasia 2000
The Emperor's New Groove
Lilo & Stitch
The Princess and the Frog

So, I have 20 of them on disc format. I have some more on VHS format, that I plan to upgrade once they're released on Blu-Ray and then some I don't plan on buying ever (Home on the Range, Chicken Little, etc.). So, I will definitely be picking up Bambi, The Lion King and Tangled when they come out.

I have every single DAC on dvd/bluray bar The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad, Make Mine Music and the Black Cauldron.

I've been searching everywhere for The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr Toad but I can't find it anywhere. And I know that Make Mine Music hasn't had a region 4 release yet. But I do get the Black Cauldron sometime next month! :)

I'm Missing

The Rescuers (though I did order it through cd tradepost so it's coming to me soon)

Make Mine Music

Melody Time

and Ichabod and Mr. Toad

And Tangled due to it's release not out on Blu ray yet but I have that on order via amazon

so that makes 46/50 if you include that the Rescuers are coming in the mail. I'll get the other three sometime...I was going to get them through DMC
however it's Valentine's day this month and this is my first time having a girlfriend on that day so I decided to order her some movies used off of amazon...she will love them... :D

Do you have a comprehensive list of the LD features that have not made it to DVD/Blu-Ray?
