Another year, another billion!
Source: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/d ... ron-346370Summer hits The Avengers and Brave have propelled Disney to become the first studio of the year to cross $1 billion in domestic box office revenues. Disney will reach the milestone on Sunday. The Avengers, from Marvel and Disney, has now grossed $611.1 million domestically, the No. 3 showing of all time after Avatar and Titanic, both from James Cameron. Globally, the film also is No. 3 with $1.5 billion. Pixar's Brave continued to do strong business in its third weekend, grossing $20.2 million for a domestic cume of $174.5 million. The 3D toon has grossed $211.1 million worldwide. Disney will reach $1 billion in 188 days, beating the studio's previous record of 210, set in 2010. This marks the seventh year in a row -- and the 16th time in 19 years -- that Disney has achieved the milestone.
It could be that the end of the world is coming on December 21, 2012. You know: the Mayan calendar, the Rapture, global warming, the ultimate war due to politics, all that? Please note: There is no scientific proof that the world would end. I will say this: only God and Jesus decide on when the time is right.

God and Jesus??? I'm pretty sure Xenu will be here long before December if Katie is granted full custody of Suri.Polizzi wrote:It could be that the end of the world is coming on December 21, 2012. Zenu is an alien overlord who Scientologists believe sent Thetans down to Earth, which is the part of ourselves that makes us depressed (hey, don't look like me. L Ron Hubbard wrote this).
Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise need no explanation, but they're both (now former) Scientologists.

Well you see, when it comes to the end of the world, people like to do things at the last minute before the end. Such as spending every money they got, finishing school and/or college, doing good deeds, setting up for the last meal, continuing work, and of course for movie businesses like Disney, unleash blockbuster hits in theaters to make big money as a grand finale. It like fireworks shooting out at the same time at the last minute. For Disney and Marvel's, "The Avengers," it is the ultimate blockbuster feature in case of the end of the world. Not to mention the buggest box office opening that it made in Hollywood history, defeating, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2," "The Dark Knight," and other blockbuster hits put together. Oh and just a theory, Pixar unleashed animated movies in 2011 and 2012 that are not on par with the previous features, since it made so much money.pap64 wrote:... Well, it's hard to explain, but "Dis" is an alternate name for Satan (or a lower city in Hell, according to Dante's Inferno), a significant pointer towards Disney only surpassed by the well-known three 6's found in the company's curly logo. The fact that "Dis" on earth is doing so well is an undeniable sign of Satan's imminent return to the earth and the beginning of the end for mankind.pap64 wrote:... Listening to most often lately:
Ariana Grande ~ "we can't be friends (wait for your love)"
Ariana Grande ~ "imperfect for you"
Kacey Musgraves ~ "The Architect"

For the record, no one know when the world comes to an end. Most people do not believe that it will come. Most people believe that it will be a normal year and/or life. In fact, there was supposed to be the end of the world on Y2K, but nothing happened. Who knows? We would all surpass this year, and live again the next year.
Anyways, I got just one question for this thread: Which Disney movie will also cross the billion dollar mark? "Oz: The Great and Powerful (Sam Raimi makes tons of money on his Spiderman trilogy before the Disney purchase of Marvel)," "Frankenweenie (Tim Burton made tons of money on Disney's live action feature, "Alice in Wonderland")," "Wreck-It Ralph (Disney Animation is following the Pixar essence to capture more MALE audiences, and hope that it would do as well as Disney and Pixar's, "Toy Story 3")," "Iron Man 3," "Thor 2," "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Monsters University," or Disney's, "Frozen (The Snow Queen (probably be on par with Disney's, "Tangled (Rapunzel)"))?"

Interesting... Somebody play, "Ave Satani," by Jerry Goldsmith (composer for Disney's, "Mulan") from, "The Omen."
Anyways, sorry for bringing this end-of-the-world crap in this thread, but that's what I heard people talking about, even on the media like Nostradamus on the History Channel. And like I said, no one believed it would happen, not even scientists that show no scientific proof of that event.
P.S. If you spell, "Nemo," backwards from Disney and Pixar's, "Finding Nemo," it spells, "Omen." Now you got, "Finding Omen." Coincidence? Here's the picture to prove it. By the way, speaking of Disney and Pixar's, "Finding Nemo," I bet that movie, now converted into 3D, would surpass the billion dollar mark.
