Do you think that this means Merida will be joining the Disney Princess line?

Well they have Buzz and Woody and Cars in Disney on Ice so I don't think it means she'll be a Disney Princess

I think those wisps could have even just been the souls of anyone who had died.

Glad you liked it! To do the white color, or any color, you look for the "Font colour:" thing when you're typing up a message! It's write their above the space where you type your post. It'll give you something that you need to place like this example:

Spoiler! Merida shoots arrows and rides a horse!

But they're pairing her with Disney princesses and not with any random Disney or Pixar character.

@Disney Duster-Thanks, DD!
@Sotiris-OMG, thanks for posting! I've been dying to know the new Disney on Ice show. And maybe this is a sign. After all, they did wait a while for Rapunzel.

Well, even before Rapunzel had been crowned an "official" princess, we saw merchandise with her and the other princesses for quite a while. So far we haven't seen any official merchandise of Merida with the princesses or even with the Disney Princess logo.

Blu-ray / DVD release date: November (maybe)?

Found this posting: http://www.pixarpost.com/2012/05/brave- ... lease.html

Interesting cover art. I think I prefer the art used for the soundtrack but this is alright too.

Surely the show would of been called "Disney Princess!" Rockin' Ever After. Or something with the brand name in it. So yer hopefully she won't be a Disney Princess!

I thought this would be released on December 4th to coincide with the release of Nemo on Blu-ray; but having it released in November, earlier that is, is definitely a good thing (since I still haven't seen it yet).

Today, I took my nephew and niece to see the movie (my second time), and they loved it. Their favorite scene is Merida's brothers naked after transformed back into humans after being cubs.

I SAW Brave today and found it to be very good. It was entertaining and i adored the mother-daughter conflict and its resolution, but I do have one question. When does this story take place?
Walt Disney always belived in quality, bring the quality back.

According to the 'art of' book, it's set in Scotland during the Pictish period (3rd-7th century AD), which is to say that the characters aren't actually Scots but Picts. However, the filmmakers have admitted to taking some creative liberties with their depiction of certain customs and traditions (i.e. men in the film are shown wearing kilts which weren't introduced until the 16th century).
