Disney Brazil is also doing a replacement program. But you only need to send an email, the lady in charge will call you asking for your address and send the disc rotfl. The new discs aren't produced in Brazil, but imported from the USA, but it's all from the same region. The only problem is that here we have disc art, and we kinda lost it

All replacement discs are the US ones by the sound of it

Update: Disc turned up today, bubble wrap envelope and in a paper cd sleeve. Sent disc on Monday, here Saturday - not a bad turn around at all. US disc as I was expecting. I kinda wish I had been able to keep the old disc as they could be in demand in years to come (you never know).

Just watched my replacement and the cell damage in the top right of the screen has been fixed. Anyone else notice this?

They won't stop doing replacements anytime soon. I've heard Disney is still even distributing Pinocchio's replacement, so I wouldn't worry.

It sucks that they didn't come out with any special collectors editions like they did with some of the other Disney releases.

I would love a collector's edition like Aladdin/Cinderella/TLK. I've recently started getting the collector's editions and it does feel like a massive gap.
As one of Disney's most popular films, it seems strange that they never released one (or not, considering how cheap Disney has become).
Even a DVD/book collection would have pleased me.

Maybe next release....

Hi!

Sorry for bumping an old thread. Will this be going back to the vault soon? I don't know what went into me when I never thought of picking it up until recently.

One thing that concerns me though is the small edits in the film. I've read that replacement discs were sent to the US buyers. However, it has been a while since that happened. I'm thinking of importing the 3D release from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Mermaid-Three-Dis ... B0036TGT2A) into the Philippines but I'm not sure if the package they're selling already contains the replacement discs. Has anyone ordered the set recently?

I'm also trying to contact amazon as of the moment.
