Disney Princesses Got a Makeover

Post by Sotiris »

This is an official Disney image. It features clip-art of Cinderella with an altered hairdo and dress. What do you think?

As unfaithful as it is...

I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

It'd be neat for them all to get a nice little make-over, just to see what they can come up with!

Sorry for the swear, but to make it G-rated, I have to say this: I downright hate the makeover!

Cinderella look so moe now in her dress mode. Good job, Disney. I'm proud.

She looks like a Bratz doll..... The idea of changing her a bit doesn't bother me too much because they do it all the time. She's never been properly represented anyway being that she's always had blonde hair and a blue dress. But she really looks like she'd let you get it in on the first date.

Better.

I'm not a fan of this either. But at this point, they are going to do what they are going to do, so whatever.

I thought the same thing when I saw it

To be honest, it doesn't look bad and I'd rather have a character look a little different and drawn well then look the same but drawn horribly (e.g. all their cover art). I wonder why Cinderella received the makeover? She has always looked great. If anyone, it's Snow White who is in need of a make over. I just hope they're using this for merchandise and not the upcoming DVD / Blu-rays.

I obviously will always think the classic version is better, I've alwasy loved her rounded bun in the original, but this is kind of nice and cute to see her like this. The only thing I think is good is what they did for her bodice and...I can't tell if I like the bottom of her dress.

I'm surprised you managed to like it, it makes me sad you don't like the original classy version. But I think it's because of the way her hair is swiped over her forehead, and that you see her ears.

I actually really like it :o Her hairdo looks great and i'm glad to see Disney has incorporated her original design into a more modern version. I actually love her fringe here.

I wasn't really a fan of it up in the movie, i just didn't like it :P Don't get me wrong when I loved Cinderella in plats and with her hair down :)

No she doesn't. Her face looks the same, it's only her hairstyle that has been changed. And, btw, I think it looks amazing. In fact, she looks better than she ever did before in the Disney Princess line.

I can't wait for future updates/makeovers to other heroines. It's loads better than those tacky gold/jeweled gowns redesigns.
