We don't know. It hasn't been announced yet. We can only speculate a time-frame based on the release dates of other countries.

Look for this title in "Summer 2012" as a 2 movie collection on Blu Ray (my guess is it will be similar to "The Fox and the Hound" disc).

My guess would kind of coincide with this. I'd say a late summer (August or September) release. I don't think the U.S. would get it too far in advance of any other country. That's assuming we get this at all. Dumbo kind of shook my trust in Disney's release methods. While in the past it was pretty predictable that the U.S. would receive releases around the same time as other countries, that's appears to be no longer the case. Enough time hasn't passes since the Dumbo fiasco to convince me that was a one time fluke. I'd say we're best off just waiting for official confirmation, than speculating based on what other countries may or may not have confirmed. :(

It's not like the US are the only one who had to wait for a blu-ray release. 'The Fox and the Hound' is still not released in Europe, while 'Winnie the Pooh' only got a DVD-release. ;)

All I'm hopping is that they get the special features they deserve, but we all know that's not going to happend.

although I sympathize in the situation with FatH, it's a different situation all together. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Europe get trailers and adds saying it was coming soon, only for it to be delayed only one country? Both Canada and Mexico got releases in North America, a year in advance than the U.S. did for Dumbo. It's just mind boggling to me. If our entire continent didn't get Dumbo it'd be a little less confusing. It'd be like every other country in Europe getting FatH this year, but Germany doesn't. Then a year later it pops up as the same exact edition that had been released everywhere else, looking as if there was no need what so ever to delay.

Then the Winnie the Pooh release in Europe is just all kinds of crap. In fact, I'd say that your situation with that only being released on DVD even trumps the whole Dumbo mess. I still can't fathom the reasoning behind that, unless they plan on releasing both Pooh films soon on a blu combo pack, but that's all speculation too.

The reasoning behind Winnie Pooh DVD only format?

This movie is not part of the Classics.

I'm pretty sure it is the 51st Classic in the US. And I think number 55 in Netherlands.

in the UK it's not as well, but this doesn't mean anything. the official canon is the one the US uses, i really don't see the point that every country changes it.

In Holland it's #55, so none of these lists matter.

It only matters if WDAS has made the film and if they confirms it as one of their films. Which is what it is: Disney's 51st animated feature.

All other lists are incorrect.

I agree, but I think this is the best double movie cover we've gotten so far.
