Rank *all* the animated classics that you've seen in order!

Post by Wonderlicious »

This idea came from a discussion in the Ultimatedisney.com chat room (which you can find if you look at the main links at the top of this page). Rank all of the animated classics that you have seen in order from best to worst. Yes, all forty plus of them (a list of which can also be found in the links at the top of the page :p).

By the way, I should add that 1 to 4 are in no specific order. They are all joint at the number one spot. I'm just ordering them on what I feel fits them today. :)

1. Pinocchio
2. Alice in Wonderland
3. Beauty and the Beast
4. The Little Mermaid
5. Aladdin
6. Dumbo
7. Peter Pan
8. Lady and the Tramp
9. Mulan
10. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
11. Robin Hood
12. Fantasia
13. Cinderella
14. Brother Bear
15. Sleeping Beauty
16. The Lion King
17. The Rescuers
18. The Rescuers Down Under

20. The Great Mouse Detective
21. Pocahontas
22. Bambi
23. The Black Cauldron
24. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
25. 101 Dalmatians
26. Lilo and Stitch
27. The Three Caballeros
28. Oliver and Company
29. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
30. The Emperor's New Groove
31. Fun and Fancy Free
32. Tarzan
33. The Jungle Book
34. Fantasia 2000
35. Hercules
36. The Sword in the Stone
37. The Fox and the Hound
38. The Aristocats

Haven't seen Make Mine Music and Home on the Range, and although I may have seen Saludos Amigos, 'twas too long ago to recall. :)

Wonderlicious, your least favorite is Treasure Planet? :headshake: Don't let your guard down for the next few days.

43. Home on the Range

There it is but I wouldn't say it's the bible of my picks. I like every movie but this is the list as of right now... a crummy Monday morning just past 8am.

the top 10 is somewhat accurate. Those movies change constantly. 'The Lion King' and 'Aladdin' used to be in the top 10 before I saw their sequels. The sequels are some of my favourites actually but they impacted the way I felt about the movies and made them feel cheapened a little and the impact isn't there as much anymore. :(
