Right?
Oh odd, her hair was totally connected, as you can see here:
http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak- ... 8674_n.jpg

but at one point her wig is attached to the hair that's all over the room, for when they switch Rapunzels. In that other pic it just looks like it's not attached I guess haha.

It wasn't too long. First time it was 30 minutes. Second time maybe 45 minutes! I guess Flynn isn't always there though.
Thanks!! So are there morning and afternoon times? If so, I think I'll try the morning as Fantasyland always seems more crowded in the afternoon.

I fantasized about Mickey Mouse!

Post by Jackoleen »

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,

I fantasized about Mickey Mouse. I was totally thinking about him...in the erotic sense.

Of course, I have thought that way about TONS of characters, including The Pillsbury Doughboy.

I sometimes think that way about human characters. I have not yet watched "Doctor Zhivago", but, right now, I am looking at a photo of Viktor and Lara, and I am fantasizing about Viktor! I fall for Fat Cats (Rich, luxe guys!), especially if they sport mustaches and/ or beards!

Then again, I fall for real older men, too. I once almost told an Australian anesthesiologist (Sexy accent...) that I desired him, but, even through the laughing gas, I remembered that I shouldn't say anything...

Thank you in advance for your replies.
;)
Farewell For Now,
Jackoleen

I am NOT a troll!

Post by Jackoleen »

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,

I am NOT a troll! I am an English Literature Major, so I wish to begin my messages formally.

I was simply explaining myself to those people who had asked me questions regarding the story about the Mickey Mouse poster. I neglected to tell everybody that I was replying to a few questions about the message that I'd typed before...

If you so wish, I can reply via several PMs next time, but really...

I have a genuine desire to discuss all things Disney, so I think that it would be sad if I was banned because of...a single message...

I have never gotten graphic, now, have I? I won't become graphic at any time. I have never gone off the rail by typing tons of cuss words, now, have I? I will never swear. I have never made up wild, untrue stories, only to say, "Ha ha! I fooled you!", now, have I? I will never make up untrue stories. I see no reason for me to be banned...

I hope that everybody will be reasonable...

I'm curious to know if JustOneBite87, PatrickvD, SpringHeelJack, stewie15, stitchje1981, and zackisthewalrus are offended by my message(s) (They're all logged on right now).

I really don't know what's so threatening about someone who doesn't post exactly...the...same...way by which everybody else seems to post.

I can try to be more modest during the future, but I don't really think that I deserve to be banned, because I am NOT a troll.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

No but your post are creepy.

Also, they feel like one of those spam letters I sometimes get from Malaysia about some poor widow who wants to leave me her money but needs my personal information first.

wow..and here we have proof that free speech and common sense are unrelated. Surely there is some Disney fetish site one can go and talk about such weird things. I personally feel like a line in public decency was crossed and has veered the thread off topic.

It's a shame when people don't take others into consideration and use the "everyone's different" card to try and guilt us into allowing that kind of talk to continue. Sorry, but that's NOT gonna work, for me at least. It's wrong to bring that kind of talk to such a level unless you know you are in likewise company, which clearly you are not.

Never order anything from Malaysian-based websites, no matter how good the deal is. Why?...because along with a great discount you will get a ton of uber-creepy Spam, spam, and more SPAM.

Oh that's how, I've never ordered anything from Malaysia so far. For some reason I don't trust things over there if you ordered something and from what I'm reading I'm never gonna as well...
Hope you'll find a way to get rid of all the spam JustOneBite87

It's not so much that you have different opinions, it's just that you're telling the wrong people in the wrong place. Being a Disney site, UD is reasonably family friendly. Yes, there's the odd swear word. Yes, some arguments get out of hand. Yes, there's the odd bit of innuendo. But nothing should really go over the PG or PG-13 level, and discussing any sexual fantasies out of the blue will undoubtedly make a lot of people feel truly uncomfortable. Yes, somebody did say "was it Mickey? was it erotic?", but you were spurring them with your original post, and you continued to go on to discuss more fetishes and fantasies without anybody asking for them. Saying "thank you in advance for your replies" after you've gone into a sexual monologue also doesn't help. As Dancing Crab pointed out, you can't simply say that everyone is being intolerant for calling you a troll and saying that you're gross, as you probably haven't taken the exact company of this forum and thread into consideration. I'm not saying you should be banned, it's just that you need to realise the boundaries and the etiquette of this forum.

And as for the "Dear Disney Enthusiasts" thing, I have to agree that it isn't technically necessary, English major or not. UD is pretty informal language wise, so there's no real need to address us like you're writing a letter to us.

********************

Anyway, back to the topic of Tangled. I'm liking the Rapunzel and Flynn characters at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. I especially like the Rapunzel meet-and-greet at Disneyland. Great pics, Poody! :) It'd be interesting if they got their own proper attraction, though I doubt it somewhat for the time being; they still need more consistent presence in all the Fantasylands of films from the early 90s (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid etc). And considering Rapunzel moved into Gepetto's shop, I'd be worried that the Pinocchio ride at Disneyland (and potentially elsewhere) were removed. ;)

Also, I'm not sure if anybody has posted this (it's easy to get lost in such a long thread as this, especially with a ton of theme park photos and another fetish confession), but here's a promo video of the pub thugs, similar to ones dedicated to Flynn, Pascal and Rapunzel:

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NpBT78YQOms?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NpBT78YQOms?fs ... 2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

I'm not sure what I think of the pub thugs. I think that they could and probably will serve a purpose, but their design is a bit too grotesque for my tastes. I'd probably warm to them more if they simply looked less Viking-like.

Wow, the meet and greets looked like they were really wonderful !

They do have a HUGE task ahead, all those playing Rapunzel and Flyn; they will be everyone's first impression of the characters, save for disjointed trailers and mini clips.

I presume the actors actors who are playing them must have viewed the whole movie, to get a good feel for how they should act, and what sort of things they could talk about etc ? I dont envy them; imagine having to play Ariel or Aladdin or something, where they are so firmly established in everyone's mind, and you have a wealth of material to go from, and then to play Rapunzel where there is an almost finished, unreleased movie to go on ?! A very tough job I can imagine . . .

I don't think they are THAT special that they get to see the movie before everybody else does....
The only ones who get to see the movie are the ones who worked on the film and chief directors etc. in the burbank animation studios before it gets released ( like they allready saw BATB in 3D)! But not some "regulars" who have to act like them in a theme park. I think they' re just being told how to act in front off people....
"be nice, smile, wave your hand, play with the hair, look very rough like bhut adorable also, make children like you and look up to you, don't do anything rude, etc......"
And they won't talk much about the movie, but they'll go like: "hi, i'm Rapunzel/ Flynn, what's your name?", "you wanna take a picture?", "bye, come back soon and don't forget to watch me in the movies" or something like that

Really ? I wouldnt think that at all; they should at least have seen some extended clips or something. Not just be told to smile and wave. Otherwise, what sort of character experience is that ?

100% sure of it!
What character experience do you need?
Mostly there's a line when you want your picture taken with a character, so they won't chat with you longer then 1 minute or something...

Let me demonstrate:

imagine the girl of the pictures in front of you, always smiling and she talks to you:

"hi and what's your name?"
"Atlantica"
"oooh Atlantica that' s a nice name, I'm Rapunzel..... You' ve got lovely hair. I've got very long hair to and live high in a tower, do you live in a tower?"
and so on and so on...

See it's not very hard to get into character and I was Rapunzel from the pictures + I haven't even seen the movie yet
Just acting, smiling, being friendly, make people like you

Yes, I do understand that; but the way the characters act and hold themselves and just .... BE like Disney characters, takes some studying of their films in my mind. For example, Alice in DL does not act remotely like Cinderella DL. For they have seen their respective films, and know they just cant 'smile and be nice' when in character, as its not enough.
