Not sure if the gift certificate can be applied towards shipping, but I suspect it can be.

Just an FYI, the coupon code does not apply to shipping. For example, you but a $5.99 book, you don't pay the $5.99, but do pay for whatever shipping you choose!

Thanks for the heads up! I don't know how I was able to use it since it was supposed to expire Nov 22, but I used it to get...a christmas gift for somebody.

EDIT: I just realized that I was thinking of October 22nd, which would've made the coupon invalid. I feel dumb :roll:

I tried to use it this afternoon. It said it was not valid. When I called and asked the customer service rep about it, he claimed that it is an invalid code that is given to Barnes & Noble employees. He also stated that he has been getting a lot of calls about it. Did I screw something up, or is this guy telling the truth?

Yes, the deal is dead. If you already placed your order with the coupon, it might have already shipped or <i>should</i> still ship with the discount intact.

I just tried to place an order on Barnes And Noble, the grand total came out to $7.98. I typed in the code and pressed continue, and it said. "Your Order Does Not Meet The Requirements For This Coupon". Whats up with this ?
